Week 2: The Power, Danger, and Potential of the Archive M, 1.25 In-Class Discussion: Introductions, Syllabus, & Course Schedule Homework: As you read the Carter & Zinn essays, begin imagining what stories you might like to tell in your writing, what gaps you might explore, what silences you might try to articulate. You will need hard copies (copies! not originals) of at least five of these with you in class on Wednesday, 2.3.
