The Turkey Coup Just Went Nuclear

The Stimson Center, a nonpartisan think tank based in Washington, D.C., has published a report warning that American nuclear weapons stored at Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base could be captured by “terrorists or other hostile forces.” But, did General Dunford just trade a small number of nukes to Turkey in exchange for the liberty of the Americans being held hostage at Incirlik Airbase?

“Whether the US could have maintained control of the weapons in the event of a protracted civil conflict in Turkey is an unanswerable question,” said the report, alluding to the recent coup attempt in Turkey.

“From a security point of view, it’s a roll of the dice to continue to have approximately 50 of America’s nuclear weapons stationed at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey,” co-author Laicie Heeley told AFP.

“There are significant safeguards in place… But safeguards are just that, they don’t eliminate risk. In the event of a coup, we can’t say for certain that we would have been able to maintain control,” she added.

AFP points to a few others who have expressed concerns about the Incirlik nukes after the coup attempt, including White House National Security Council veteran Steve Andreasen, who said, “we have ample evidence that the security of U.S. nuclear weapons stored in Turkey can change literally overnight.”

Others have argued the weapons cannot be armed without authorization from the United States, reducing the risk that hostile forces could make use of them. Another part of the Stimson report argues that U.S. nuclear weapons are in serious need of modernization, which could reduce confidence that the weapons are impervious to hacking. The propaganda value of stealing even useless nuclear warheads from a U.S. facility would also be considerable.

According to Business Insider, Congress received a briefing on the Incirlik Air Base and its nuclear arsenal last week — which may constitute the “most official confirmation of the location of the bombs on record.”

“The weapons at Incirlik are the shorter-range variety, and they are mainly valuable to deter potential aggression and demonstrate the US’s commitment to NATO,” Business Insider explains.

Sycophantic experts report to the Obama pentagon that the bombs that sit in Incirlik can’t actually be used, or they would have to be hauled to another base first. But they are not considering that the warheads do not have to be deployed by rocket at all. They can be deployed in something as small and innocuous as a Chevy van.

The ridiculously under-attended congressional briefing judged the security situation of the bombs “adequate,” noting the underground storage facility was updated in 2015, and aspiring thieves would need to “overwhelm U.S. and NATO forces on one of their own bases, and then come up with some way to haul a 12-foot long, very heavy warhead.” They never even considered the possibility that Obama’s generals would trade warheads for allowing Americans to leave Incirlik Airbase in Turkey.

There would be no insurgency needed to obtain some or all of the 50 to 90 warheads that are stored at Incirlik. In the L.A. Times op-ed referenced by AFP, Steve Andreasen noted that the Turkish base commander at Incirlik, General Campbell, was arrested for allegedly playing a role in the coup, which brought the unrest awfully close to American forces and the nuclear weapons they are guarding. He also worried that anti-American sentiment in Turkey, due to America’s reluctance to hand over accused coup mastermind Fethullah Gulen, is growing uncomfortably reminiscent of Iran circa 1979.

Arguments have been made for relocating the nuclear warheads from Incirlik, but as Business Insider notes, such a move would also be taken as a loss of faith in Turkey and/or NATO. Also, NATO concern over Russian aggression doesn’t look like a relic of Cold War paranoia these days.

Andreasen, who thinks American nukes should be recalled from Europe as well as Turkey, rejected those arguments: “In the wake of an incident at a nuclear storage site – for which the U.S. would be held accountable and suffer long-term consequences with allies – it would be difficult to explain that vulnerable targets were left in place due to a perceived need to reassure our allies.”

The truth is that if even one warhead escapes the vaults at Incirlik and gets in the hands of ISIS terrorists, the devastation could be unbelievable. Some strategists have proposed the idea that we should let some of the warheads escape and make their way to the leadership of ISIS where they could be detonated remotely. The explosion would look like a nuclear accident from tampering, and no one would know. The only problem is that there is a strong suspicion that Obama and the US State department are actually the intelligence and guidance of ISIS. The bomb might actually kill us instead. Besides, that strategy did not work out so well in Fast and Furious.

Nukes Being Moved from Incirlik

Two independent sources told EurActiv.com that the US has started transferring nuclear weapons stationed in Turkey to Romania, against the background of worsening relations between Washington and Ankara.

According to one of the sources, the transfer has been very challenging in technical and political terms.

“It’s not easy to move 20+ nukes,” said the source, on conditions of anonymity.

According to a recent report by the Simson Center, since the Cold War, some 50 US tactical nuclear weapons have been stationed at Turkey’s Incirlik air base, approximately 100 kilometres from the Syrian border.

During the failed coup in Turkey in July, Incirlik’s power was cut, and the Turkish government prohibited US aircraft from flying in or out. Eventually, the base commander was arrested and implicated in the coup. Whether the US could have maintained control of the weapons in the event of a protracted civil conflict in Turkey is an unanswerable question, the report says.

US-Turkey relations have deteriorated so much following the coup that Washington no longer trusts Ankara to host the weapons. The American weapons are being moved to the Deveselu air base in Romania, the source said.

Deveselu, near the city of Caracal, is the new home of the US missile shield, which has infuriated Russia.

Media sources have asked the US State Department, and the Turkish and the Romanian foreign ministries, to comment. American and Turkish representatives have promised to answer. After several hours, the State Department said the issue should be referred to the Department of Defense. will publish the DoD reaction as soon as it is received.

In the meantime, NATO sent media a diplomatically worded comment which implies that allies must make sure that US nuclear weapons deployed in Europe remain “safe”.

“On your question, please check the Communiqué of the NATO Warsaw Summit (published on 9 July 2016), paragraph 53: “NATO’s nuclear deterrence posture also relies, in part, on United States’ nuclear weapons forward-deployed in Europe and on capabilities and infrastructure provided by Allies concerned. These Allies will ensure that all components of NATO’s nuclear deterrent remain safe, secure, and effective,” a NATO spokesperson wrote to EurActiv.

The NATO summit took place a few days before the failed coup in Turkey. At that time, the risks for the US nukes in Incirlik were related to the proximity of the war in Syria and the multiple terrorist attacks that have taken place in Turkey in recent months. For some of the attacks, Ankara blamed Islamic State, and for others the PKK, the Kurdish military organization.

The Clinton Crime SyndicateIf you happen to watch CNN, you’ll know that the network has become a front for the Clinton Campaign and a bastion for spreading liberal nonsense. Now, a report by one of its own journalists has found that CNN has also taken bribes from foreign countries.

Page 4: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

The CNN reporter who blew the lid on this issue was none other than Amber Lyon, formerly employed by CNN and an “award winning reporter.” Yesterday, Lyon “blew the cover” on the network’s suspicious business practices.

Lyon claims that CNN “is paid by the U.S. government for reporting on some events, and not reporting on others.” Lyon also told us that the network is a tool for the Obama Administration to manipulate the information the American Public gets to see.

Lyon’s findings suggesting that the network acted as an information filter for the Obama Whitehouse has confirmed the suspicions of many that government corruption reaches far into supposedly non-government sectors of America.

A few years ago, Lyon was interviewed by Joe Rogan, and revealed some very shocking testimony concerning her reporting of the 2011 Arab Spring Protests in Bahrain.

During Lyon’s interview with Joe Rogan, she explained that she and another female colleague were part of a 4 person team sent by CNN to Bahrain in 2011. Arriving in Bahrain, Lyon noticed something very odd- the United States government had been supplying over $1 billion worth in weaponry- including tear gas- to the oppressive Bahraini regime looking to suppress popular protests in the country.

Lyon was threatened by United States government personnel while staying on a U.S. Navy base in Bahrain. She was told not to report the incident, or face grave consequences.

Instead, CNN told her to be quiet and not report the Bahraini government’s suppression of peaceful protests, but was forced to report complete lies.

The Guardian confirms much of Lyon’s testimony, and tells us that the CNN journalists themselves were victims of oppression from the Bahraini authorities:

“The CNN crew itself was violently detained by regime agents . As they described it after returning to the US, “20 heavily-armed men”, whose faces were “covered with black ski masks”, “jumped from military vehicles”, and then “pointed machine guns at” the journalists, forcing them to the ground. The regime’s security forces seized their cameras and deleted their photos and video footage, and then detained and interrogated them for the next six hours.”

Right now, Amber Lyon is trying to get the word out that the Obama Administration and CNN have worked together to support a brutal, repressive regime and silence journalists who are only doing their jobs to report the truth.

Netherlands considers banning petrol cars within decade Published time: 19 Aug, 2016 13:05

The Dutch government is looking to introduce an innovative eco-friendly law, with the authorities debating an outright ban of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2025.

Page 5: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

The initial proposal, aiming to prohibit all petrol and diesel cars from the country’s roads, was eventually altered to exclude vehicles already in use.

The draft has already been approved by the lower house of parliament and sent to the senate.

“We need to phase out CO2 emissions and we need to change our pattern of using fossil fuels if we want to save the Earth,” said Jan Vos, a Dutch Labor Party member, who is behind the initiative.

However, the politician admits that the ban won’t be enough to fully phase out gas guzzlers, adding that electric vehicles are feasible for everyone.

“Transportation with your own car shouldn’t be something that only rich people can afford,” he stressed.

The government might help the measure by increasing of the number of charging stations across the country, according to the MP.

Holland has one of the lowest levels of CO2 emissions from new cars among all EU member states. Last year, the country joined the International Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Alliance, which aims to make all new vehicles use electric power by 2050.

By contemplating a ban on new petrol and diesel cars, the Netherlands joins a host of countries considering a similar step. Norway debated the ban on selling gasoline-powered cars two months ago, with Denmark discussing the possibility as well.

To reduce pollution, India and China have requested that citizens use their cars on alternate days only. In June, Paris began enforcing a ban on all cars built before 1997.

(CNSNews.com) - Speaking at a news conference in flood-ravaged Louisiana on Thursday, Homeland Security Director Jeh  Johnson said "the federal government is here, we have been here, and we'll be here as long as it takes to help this community recover."

Responding to criticism that President Obama has not interrupted his summer vacation on Martha's Vineyard, Johnson said several times, "The president can't be everywhere."

Johnson also said the (golfing, vacationing) president "has a very busy schedule this fall and in the coming days," hinting that Obama has no plans to go Louisiana.

"There's been a lot of criticism about president Obama not visiting Louisiana. Will you be recommending that he come to Louisiana and visit?" a reporter asked Johnson.

“Well, of course the president can't be everywhere. I can tell you that the president has been closely monitoring the situation here in Louisiana. He made the federal (disaster) declaration in a matter of hours -- it was expedited, we're up to 20 parishes now.

“I will be briefing him on what I see here and what the status of our recovery and response efforts are...So the president is closely monitoring the situation, through his cabinet, through his FEMA administrator, and is very much on top of it.”

The reporter again asked if Johnson would recommend that Obama visit:

"As I said, the president can't be everywhere. I know he has a very busy schedule this fall and in the coming days, and uh, he is closely monitoring the situation. When you are the chief executive of the entire U.S. government, you can't be everywhere, uh, including places you would like to be. Uh, but through me and through (FEMA Director) Craig Fugate, I know he is very much on top of this situation."

Another reporter noted that Wednesday's briefing from the White House press pool began with the announcement that the president was playing a round of golf: "And you sit there and say twice the president can't be everywhere. The people of Louisiana are dying. How hard is it for you, as the Homeland Security director, for you to have your updates going to the president on the golf course?"

"Well, as I said, he is very much on top of the situation, and I know that he is aware of the level of federal assistance that can be provided and is being provided, and I'll be briefing him myself right after this visit," Johnson responded.

Johnson said his tour of the flooded state was a "reaffirmation in terms of our ability...to pull together at the federal state and local level to help the public good."

When Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, President George W. Bush was excoriated by Democrats and the media for taking a helicopter tour of the flooded city instead of getting a ground-level view.

Donald Trump and Pence visited Louisiana on Friday. They promised to do everything possible to help the community to come back. Hillary was nowhere to be found.

The Latest Cold Fusion News

Cold fusion has historically received more attention from screenwriters than journalists. Recently, though, the media has started getting into the game. There are the breathless (for Scandinavia anyway) stories about the new research coming out of Norway. There is the pretty epic thinkpiece in Aeon. There is the reaction to that thinkpiece in Popular Mechanics. And there is just a ton of easily dismissed nonsense out of India. The stories all make internal sense, but the broader narrative is hard to follow. What do we talk about when we talk about cold fusion?

The first thing to understand is that cold fusion is more than a MacGuffin; it’s a controversial scientific area of study. Simply put, cold fusion refers to the ability to reproduce nuclear reactions that normally occur in extremely hot places — for instance, the sun — at lukewarm, earthly temperatures. In theory, cold fusion could provide endless amounts of clean electricity, liberating us from our dependence on other, smog-creating and Penguin-coating sources. But theory and reality are two different things. Though some scientists say cold fusion has been possible since Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons demonstrated it with palladium deuteride in 1989, most claim that the demonstration wasn’t scaleable and that a truly functional system has never been created. Many scientists are plainly contemptuous of the idea.

Even among the core group of palladium deuteride enthusiasts, there are plenty of skeptics who don’t believe in the technologies long term relevance. These people argue that pursuing a holy grail of clean energy is foolish. The abbreviated version of that argument goes like this: Palladium deuteride doesn’t produce energy at a high enough rate and is thus only good for laboratory experiments.

The conversation really only gets interesting when nickel hydrogen shows up. Nickel hydrogen, the thinking goes, could produce energy at a significantly higher rate. But there is no scientific consensus that this is possible. The only man on the planet totally sure that this can be done is Andrea Rossi, an Italian scientist who claims to have managed the trick.

“This big question is, ‘Can you trust him?” says Edmund Storms, a nuclear chemist with a background in radiochemistry and nuclear physics. “His claims are not based upon good science, and many attempts to replicate [results he claims to have achieved] have failed, so we’re in a sort of awkward position on the path toward possible application. But the basic phenomenon is, I think, well-supported with palladium deuteride.” Rossi could not be reached for this article.

Storms, who has authored several books on cold fusion, explains that Rossi is a big part of why cold fusion (many scientists find low-energy nuclear reactions, LENR, a more credible term) is getting some attention again. There is a “for better or worse” caveat.

Page 8: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

The interest in the field is starting to percolate into the mainstream, but it’s still a hard nut to crack,” says Storms. “When people have success in this field, they tend to keep it secret because that’s their intellectual property and they want to patent it. So you only hear about the failure. In my case, I publish everything I discover because i think it’s too soon to try to use any of this commercially.”

Storms adds that most journals don’t want to publish articles on cold fusion for fear of looking foolish. The main exception is the Journal of Condensed Matter Nuclear Science, but that’s not considered “conventional.” Storms believes many scientists, fearing for their reputations, are simply refusing to consider cold fusion because it’s an inconvenient possibility, if not a very convenient truth.

Jean-Paul Biberian, author of Fusion in All Its Forms: Cold Fusion, ITER, Alchemy, Biological Transmutations, basically agrees with storms, adding that having worked in the field since 1993 he remains unsold on Rossi’s claims.

“We have no idea,” Biberian says of Rossi’s work. “He just talks and we have no solid data. Rossi started in 2011, so five years later we’re still in the same mystery. Other people are trying to follow in the tracks of Rossi but haven’t been able to reproduce [the results he claims to have achieved]. No one can duplicate what he says.”

When pressed about whether or not he believes in Rossi’s work, Biberian laughed. “This is the most difficult question.” Rossi has said that after a month of analysis the state of his nickel powder has been altered, shifting from natural nickel isotopes - 58, 60, 61, and 64 - to almost entirely Ni-62. He claims a similar result with lithium. “If this is true, then [a nuclear phenomenon] must have happened, unless he’s a magician.” Then again, his results could simply be fraudulent, as many believe they must be.

Like Storms, Biberian stressed that palladium deuteride cold fusion has been proven again and again, but that nickel hydrogen cold fusion — the one with commercial potential — remains a question mark. On the plus side, he says that “palladium deuteride” results are improving. Unfortunately, the people conducting that research are scientists more than engineers, and thus not particularly concerned with practical applications. It’s the practical application, after all, that has made cold fusion the bogeyman of the science world.

“There’s promising work in Japan with nanoparticles now,” Biberian adds. “With palladium, nickel, and copper, and they’re getting good results, so maybe the future is more in the alloys than in the pure metals.” Biberian believes we will one day see cold fusion on an industrial level, but that we don’t understand it well enough yet to predict when that could be.

Most scientists still shun the idea of cold fusion, palladium- and nickel-based alike. The recent research from Norway might help to change that, but it’s almost guaranteed to be a slow process.

“Everyone’s been taught it’s impossible,” Storms says. In a sense, that’s where the conversation begins and ends.

The Accidental Black Hole Probe

Like a confectioner trying to reach the right consistency in a sweet concoction, a supermassive black hole is vigorously stirring the gas within a collection of galaxies to keep star formation at a minimum. The new finding, revealed by the doomed spacecraft Hitomi, may help solve the question of why so few stars form within collections of hundreds or thousands of galaxies.

Hitomi measured the motion of gas in the center of the Perseus galaxy cluster with unprecedented precision, as much as 50 times better than previous instruments, said Andrew Fabian, a professor of astronomy at the University of Cambridge in England. The black hole, by stirring the gas, keeps the material from cooling down and forming new stars.

Without that mixing activity from the black hole, "the central galaxy would be much brighter and have a much higher stellar mass," Fabian told Space.com by email. Fabian is chairperson of part of Hitomi's science working group, an international collaboration headed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). That group published the results of the only science completed by the Hitomi spacecraft before it disintegrated in orbit last April. [Images: Black Holes of the Universe]

"We already knew that supermassive black holes, which are found at the center of all galaxy clusters and are tens of billions of times more massive than the sun, could play a major role in keeping the gas from cooling by somehow injecting energy into it," Norbert Werner, a research associate at Stanford University in California who analyzed data from Hitomi, said in a statement. "Now we understand this mechanism better and see that there is just the right amount of stirring motion to produce enough heat."

A massive spoonGalaxy clusters are made up of anywhere from 50 to thousands of galaxies. Hot gas reaching tens of millions of degrees Fahrenheit makes up about 15 percent of a cluster, causing it to shine brightly in the X-ray spectrum. Studying the gas helps astronomers make estimates of how massive the cluster is, but these estimates can change based on how quickly the gas is stirred, a process that can also affect the birth of stars.

Other instruments have studied the Perseus cluster, the brightest X-ray cluster in the sky, and one of the most massive. These glimpses revealed enormous bubbles of gas thousands of light-years wide, spat out by the supermassive black hole at the center of the cluster.

For the first time, Hitomi was able to link the movement of the gas to the bubbles. As they rise from the black hole, the bubbles drag gas from the center of the cluster, stirring it up and heating it. Because the gas can't cool, it is unable to form new stars. (Visible-light images reveal streaks of colder gas pulled away from the galactic center).

"Although the motions heat the gas at the center of the Perseus cluster, their speed is only about 100 miles [160 kilometers] per second, which is surprisingly slow considering how disturbed the

region looks in X-ray images," Hitomi's co-principal investigator Roger Blandford, a physics professor at Stanford University and a professor of astrophysics and particle physics at the Department of Energy's SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

While understanding how the gas moves can affect estimates of mass in the cluster, Blandford said the new measurements haven't led to significant changes in previous mass calculations.

Unfortunately, Hitomi was able to study the Perseus cluster only briefly before the satellite was lost.

Due to the spacecraft failure, "We are not able to make these measurements in other clusters and galaxies and so understand better how the feedback process operates," Fabian said.

The research, along with an accompanying perspective piece, was published online today (July 6) in the journal Nature.

'A new chapter'Launched in February 2016, Hitomi carried an X-ray detector that was designed to spot objects 10 to 100 times fainter than those visible to previous spacecraft, according to JAXA. By probing high-energy objects such as black holes, galaxy clusters and supernova remnants from space, Hitomi was able to observe in X-ray and gamma-ray wavelengths that can't make it through Earth's atmosphere.

But after a little more than a month in space, a glitch resulted in Hitomi spinning wildly out of control. The high-speed rotation caused several pieces of the satellite to snap off, permanently disabling the spacecraft. As many as 11 fragments were detected flying through space. By the end of April, JAXA ended its efforts to reconnect to the spacecraft, well before the end of what was supposed to be a three-year mission.

Despite its early destruction, Hitomi managed to perform significant science. In its first week after launch, the spacecraft spent three days observing the Perseus cluster, making a total of four observations. Hitomi began its fateful position change before the craft had completed all of the studies that researchers had intended it to make.

"Eventually, it would have mapped much of the cluster over a total of a month or more, and much longer on many other clusters," Fabian said.

He told Space.com that only a handful of other sources were observed for calibration purposes, and these would be "much less interesting scientifically."

"Being able to measure gas motions is a major advance in understanding the dynamic behavior of galaxy clusters and its ties to cosmic evolution," study co-author Irina Zhuravleva of the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology, said in the same statement from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. "Although the Hitomi mission ended tragically after a very short period of time, it's fair to say that it has opened a new chapter in X-ray astronomy."

Cassini News

NASA's Cassini spacecraft has found deep, steep-sided canyons on Saturn's moon Titan that are flooded with liquid hydrocarbons. The finding represents the first direct evidence of the presence of liquid-filled channels on Titan, as well as the first observation of canyons hundreds of meters deep.

A new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes how scientists analyzed Cassini data from a close pass the spacecraft made over Titan in May 2013. During the flyby, Cassini's radar instrument focused on channels that branch out from the large, northern sea Ligeia Mare.

The Cassini observations reveal that the channels -- in particular, a network of them named Vid Flumina -- are narrow canyons, generally less than half a mile (a bit less than a kilometer) wide, with slopes steeper than 40 degrees. The canyons also are quite deep -- those measured are 790 to 1,870 feet (240 to 570 meters) from top to bottom.

The branching channels appear dark in radar images, much like Titan's methane-rich seas. This suggested to scientists that the channels might also be filled with liquid, but a direct detection had not been made until now. Previously it wasn't clear if the dark material was liquid or merely saturated sediment -- which at Titan's frigid temperatures would be made of ice, not rock.

Cassini's radar is often used as an imager, providing a window to peer through the dense haze that surrounds Titan to reveal the surface below. But during this pass, the radar was used as an altimeter, sending pings of radio waves to the moon's surface to measure the height of features there. The researchers combined the altimetry data with previous radar images of the region to make their discovery.

Key to understanding the nature of the channels was the way Cassini's radar signal reflected off the bottoms of the features. The radar instrument observed a glint, indicating an extremely smooth surface like that observed from Titan's hydrocarbon seas. The timing of the radar echoes, as they bounced off the canyons' edges and floors, provided a direct measure of their depths.

The presence of such deep cuts in the landscape indicates that whatever process created them was active for a long time or eroded down much faster than other areas on Titan's surface. The researchers' proposed scenarios include uplift of the terrain and changes in sea level, or perhaps both.

"It's likely that a combination of these forces contributed to the formation of the deep canyons, but at present it's not clear to what degree each was involved. What is clear is that any

Page 12: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

description of Titan's geological evolution needs to be able to explain how the canyons got there," said Valerio Poggiali of the University of Rome, a Cassini radar team associate and lead author of the study.

Earthly examples of both of these types of canyon-carving processes are found along the Colorado River in Arizona. An example of uplift powering erosion is the Grand Canyon, where the terrain's rising altitude caused the river to cut deeply downward into the landscape over the course of several million years. For canyon formation driven by variations in water level, look to Lake Powell. When the water level in the reservoir drops, it increases the river's rate of erosion.

"Earth is warm and rocky, with rivers of water, while Titan is cold and icy, with rivers of methane. And yet it's remarkable that we find such similar features on both worlds," said Alex Hayes, a Cassini radar team associate at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and a co-author of the study.

While the altimeter data also showed that the liquid in some of the canyons around Ligeia Mare is at sea level -- the same altitude as the liquid in the sea itself -- in others it sits tens to hundreds of feet (tens of meters) higher in elevation. The researchers interpret the latter to be tributaries that drain into the main channels below.

Future work will extend the methods used in this study to all other channels Cassini's radar altimeter has observed on Titan. The researchers expect their continued work to produce a more comprehensive understanding of forces that have shaped the Saturnian moon's landscape.

Special Drawing Rights Bond: The Ultimate IMF Weapon

They have been promising since Nixon took the dollar off the gold standard, and now they have delivered. The World Bank, arguably the most corrupt bank in history, will issue a $2.8 billion SDR bond, or Special Drawing Rights bond, in China this month. The current governor of the Peoples Bank of China (PBOC), Zhou Xiaochuan, has spearheaded this call to change and it appears China is not going to be satisfied with just the M-SDR Bond; they want the whole system to change, now. Separately, the China Development Bank will also issue between $300 million and $800 million of SDR notes.  This does not sound like large amounts of money, but considering its placement in highly depressed economies, it is probably as effective as ten times that amount. It is just a test model, but when it works, it will cascade throughout the global economy.

China, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and interested think tanks have been pushing the idea of private SDR since the beginning of the year. It has now come to fruition. But what does it actually mean?

Initially, SDR-denominated bonds will be of particular interest to official investors, but gradually, they will also attract investors from private sectors.

— Zhu Jun, director-general, PBOC

Page 13: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

The so-called SDR is an IMF construct of real currencies—right now the euro, yen, dollar, and pound—without actually containing any of them. It is just a claim to demand payment in these currencies, which is actually what paper money represents.  In effect, they are counterfeiting money by using the faith and credit of other currencies. It made news last year when the Chinese renminbi was also admitted into the formula, although it won’t formally be part of the basket until Oct. 1 of this year. That should give us a hint as to when the Yuan will switch to being gold backed. When that happens, fiat currency may become as worthless as Vegas poker chips in a Tennessee flea market. The IMF and member countries trade the units currently worth $1.40 among each other.

“Initially, SDR-denominated bonds will be of particular interest to official investors, but gradually, they will also attract investors from private sectors. In such a way, an SDR bond market will be developed,” Zhu Jun, the director-general of the People’s Bank of China’s (PBOC) international department told the Chinese business paper Caixin.

Worth Wray, the chief global macro strategist of STA Wealth Management, agrees: “Right now there is no organic demand, but over a five-year horizon it could develop globally and maybe that creates another channel for capital to flow into China—if that’s the only market there is for it,” he said in an interview.

The SDR bonds issued by the two official institutions are different from the official SDR issued by the IMF. In fact, they are a derivative of it. When the World Bank unit called International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) issues the bonds, it receives payment in yuan from the Chinese market or at first from the issue’s underwriter, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

It can then proceed to either spend the yuan in China or exchange them for other currencies and spend them abroad. So far, the IBRD has disbursed $46 billion worth of loans, grants, and credits in China. It is important to note that this process is effectively creating SDRs, which have previously not existed.

Chinese investors receive the SDR bonds, but what do they actually own?

For the Chinese investors, there is the advantage that they can hold a sizeable non-yuan denominated asset in China and reduce their risk to the Chinese currency.

Official SDRs can be redeemed for dollars, euros, yen, pounds, and soon yuan through the IMF. However, the new private SDR, or M-SDR as the IMF calls it, cannot. The new bonds represent a claim on the IBRD. Since the IBRD doesn’t have any SDR assets, the repayment will also be in yuan, dollars, euros, yen, or pounds. So what’s the point of having this new basket?

For the IBRD, there is no advantage because it is borrowing in strong currencies and getting paid in a relatively weak one. For the Chinese investors, there is the advantage that they can hold a sizeable non-yuan denominated asset in China and reduce their risk to the Chinese currency, which may further fall in value. Because of still-existing capital controls, buying foreign assets in size is not yet possible on the Chinese domestic bond market.

Page 14: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

However, this is only an advantage for the time being. At the point of maturity, foreign currency will have to flow from the IBRD to the Chinese bond holders, unless they choose repayment in yuan, in which case the whole exercise would be rather pointless.

So given this lackluster value proposition, why are China, the IMF, and the U.S.-controlled World Bank going out of their way to push the SDR into private markets?

Prominent market observers like James Rickards and Willem Middelkoop have long argued that the SDR will be the next world reserve currency. In fact, the current governor of the PBOC, Zhou Xiaochuan, has advocated for the SDR to become the next global reserve currency for a long time now.

“Special consideration should be given to giving the SDR a greater role. The SDR has the features and potential to act as a super-sovereign reserve currency,” wrote Zhou in 2009. He also wanted the yuan to be included in the SDR, which is going to happen on Oct. 1. Take heed of his predictions.

“The Chinese … have made it very clear that the Special Drawing Rights of the IMF is the preferred future international world reserve currency,” Middelkoop wrote in a note to clients.

“What you are going to see is world money. You are going to see the IMF print Special Drawing Rights (SDR). It’s a geeky name but it’s a kind of world money printed by the IMF. They’ll flood the world with trillions of SDRs, and when they do, it will render all other currencies obsolete in comparison.

Now that the first issuance is well underway, it is easy to lever up the balance sheets of international development organizations and keep issuing—or printing—SDR obligations even in the trillions until even private market actors support and accept them. Once the SDR is widely accepted as payment, the IMF could just redeem all outstanding local currencies for SDR and the world would not only have a new reserve currency, but just one global currency.

“You create new liquidity. That’s the kind of reform that could change the international system immediately,” says Worth Wray. The remaining elephant in the room is derivatives, now held by only US banks. If there is only one world currency, the fantasy value in derivatives turns to pixy dust. No one will buy them, meaning that at least four major US banks have vaults full of road gravel.

Willem Middelkoop says this could be done through an IMF substitution fund, an idea already discussed in the 1970s. “This fund could facilitate a direct exchange of dollars for SDRs, with a negotiable discount of course. The liquidity issue would be resolved with one stroke of the pen, as an SDR would be created for every dollar that was exchanged,” he wrote in his note. But if you hold onto your cash for too long, you may lose your chance to trade it in for SDR’s.

Sounds crazy? It is, but the official plan is right here, for everyone to see. It is real and it is happening.

The State of Propaganda

If you want to see propaganda in action, you need look no further than right here in America. Journalists are throwing in the towel and admitting to bias, but they’re doing it to help you out. Our own federal officials are stalking us and stealing our money without due process of law, but it’s only because they need to balance their budgets so they can continue to serve you.

What you need to ask yourself is this: if the public media outlets and officials are all trying to obfuscate the facts, shouldn’t you consider resisting the manipulation?

That doesn’t mean you have to automatically do the opposite, but it means you should inspect all sides of the story without a pre-conceived notion of what the truth really is.

This week, I have 2 stories that should scare the snot out of you and a little opinion blurb about my stubborn urge to rebel against the propaganda coercion.

Unbiased Journalism Is Completely Dead But It’s For Your Own GoodThe mainstream media is churning out the propaganda so hard and fast, they’re gonna burn out the motor to the printer pretty soon.

The job of the “news” is supposed to be to report facts without bias, allowing the listener/watcher/reader to come to his or her own conclusions. But the media is now trying to justify their slanted coverage as their “duty”, as they flush any guise of journalistic integrity right down the toilet.

Jim Rutenberg of the New York Times explains why he thinks this is okay in a lengthy, meandering cry for vindication. “If you view a Trump presidency as something that’s potentially dangerous, then your reporting is going to reflect that. You would move closer than you’ve ever been to being oppositional. That’s uncomfortable and uncharted territory for every mainstream, non-opinion journalist I’ve ever known, and by normal standards, untenable.”

And there it is in a nutshell: “non-opinion journalists.”

If you print opinion as opinion (like here, on a blog), that is commentary.

If you print opinion as fact (like in a so-called news story), that is propaganda.

Here’s a perfect example:

This week, the propaganda machine vilified an offhand comment made by Trump as a cry for the assassination of Hillary Clinton (that really wasn’t my first thought when I heard his statement). Meanwhile, they ignored the calls for violence in the Democratic party. (See the quick helpful

Page 16: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

tutorial I put together here.) Actor Will Smith even suggested that Trump needed to be “cleansed” from America, with no resultant hullabaloo.

Meanwhile, there are more and more questions about the health issues of Hillary Clinton. The mainstream dismisses those concerns with cries of “junk science” and “none of your beeswax” while promoting headlines that claim Donald Trump is mentally ill and quoting neuroscientists (who have never examined Trump and are putting out the same kind of assertions that everyone is so mad about with HRC.)

I could go on and on with the media bias, but if you ever had any doubt that the mainstream news is nothing but blatant propaganda, you can rest assured that now they’re even admitting it, and they’re doing it to save you from yourself.

Now the Feds Are Stalking Travelers to Identify Civil Asset Seizure TargetsIt’s no secret that the United States government is running on a massive deficit, but they have a plan they have been polishing to help out with their budget. Steal cash from unwitting travelers. It’s true. The feds are tracking travelers who may be carrying cash.

“Like sophisticated thieves who case a jewelry store before robbing it, the DEA has been trolling Americans’ travel records looking for ‘suspicious’ activity. I’m not talking about past travel. I’m talking about upcoming travel. Anytime you book a flight, airlines create a code called a PNR, or Passenger Name Record, with all of your travel details and personal information. If you don’t believe me, just look into Google sometime and notice that every hotel you have booked since you have been using computers is listed and located on a map.

And what a surprise– the federal government has gotten its hands on this data. So now it seems the DEA is combing through PNRs looking for suspicious activity like last minute, one-way tickets. Or, as I said last week, if you fly front ends. That is where you book a round trip ticket, instead of a one-way or a multi-city ticket. You fly the front end of the round trip, and then just miss the return trip. The flight is cheaper by far, but it is also shady and will get you tracked by the DHS.

Because apparently only slimy low-lifes who carry treasure troves of illicitly acquired cash buy last minute one-way tickets or fly front ends. Right? You would never do that. Believe it or not, there has not been a massive public outcry over the practice of civil forfeiture. Billions of dollars are stolen by cops each year, and yet the people don’t care. On the contrary, the Feds are taking it to the next level.

So now instead of passively waiting to steal from citizens as the opportunities arise, they’re actively casing our travel itineraries looking for potential targets.”

Page 17: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

Apparently, the DEA is leading the charge, using this technology to – cough – target drug couriers – cough.  They’re seizing the money that travelers have with them, and most times, releasing them without any charges.

“They count on this as part of the budget,” said Louis Weiss, a former supervisor of the DEA group assigned to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. “Basically, you’ve got to feed the monster.” (source)

So, let’s get this straight.

Your itinerary is inspected before you travel, along with your personal finances. If you are a good enough target, your money is stolen. There is no due process of law, no criminal charges, just “give us your money and you can go.”

We are being robbed and extorted by our own government, and if we fight back, we get charged with a crime, kidnapped, and locked in a cage.

Man, I’m sure glad we live in America, not some Third World banana republic with shady law enforcement people who set up innocent people and steal from them.

Flirting with War to Stop the Election

In the last couple of weeks, the all-out media campaign to stop Donald Trump from being elected has been failing miserably. The people are showing up by the tens of thousands to Trump’s rallies, while Hillary has trouble getting more than 200 to attend an event. The polls are sliding every single day toward Trump. If the rate of change continues, Hillary will lose by a landslide, and Obama’s fascist regime will come tumbling down forever. So, what is a failing president to do?

Well, a U.S.-led coalition sent aircraft into northeastern Syria on Thursday in a "very unusual" move to protect American special operation ground forces from attacks by Syrian government jets, a Pentagon official said on Friday. This is a well-known tactic called testing the limits. How far will we go? Will we actually shoot down an enemy airplane?

Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis told reporters the coalition aircraft reached the area around the city of Hasaka as the two Syrian Russian-made SU-24s were leaving, and the U.S. special operation forces were in the area where the strikes were taking place. He said the Syrian planes did not respond to efforts by ground forces to contact them.

Davis said he was not aware of any other instances where coalition aircraft had been scrambled to respond to Syrian government bombing. "This is very unusual, we have not seen the regime take this kind of action against YPG before," Davis said, using an acronym for the Syrian Kurdish fighters.

Additional combat air patrols have been sent to the area in order to protect the ground forces.

Page 18: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

On Friday, two Syrian aircraft tried to pass through the airspace around Hasaka, but left without incident when they were met by coalition fighter jets. The coalition fighter jets were F-22 aircraft and came within 1 mile (1.6 km)of the Syrian planes.

On Friday, the Syrian government carried out a second day of airstrikes and artillery bombardment, causing thousands of civilians to evacuate Kurdish areas of the city. Dozens of civilians have been killed over the last 48 hours.

The Russians were contacted through a channel used for air safety, and they made clear the bombing was not being carried out by their jets, Davis said.

The Russians were asked to tell the Syrian government that U.S. aircraft would defend its troops on the ground if they were threatened, Davis said. "The Syrian regime would be well advised not to interfere with coalition forces or our partners," he said, adding that the United States had the right to defend its troops.

Faysal Itani, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council think tank, said it was easy for the Syrian government to avoid bombing large bases, but far more risky to strike areas close to YPG forces being trained by U.S. forces.

"If the regime continues bombing in close proximity to U.S. forces, then simply I think the United States will shoot down the regime aircraft," Itani said. If this happens, we may very well cross into a regional conflict with advanced weapons. If it escalates, and there is a good chance that it will, then we can be entangled in a much larger war. Right now, it is proxies that are wrestling for control of a few miles of ground. But if the super powers are drawn into this, a world war could start. These are historically very difficult to stop once they start. Once they start, we have traditionally fought to victory or we have cut and run. In either case, the opportunity to stop an unopposed election from taking place. And, make no mistake, in a very few weeks Hillary will be disqualified for the office. The Democrats may seek the commencement of a world war to retain the operation of their trillion dollar lobby game they play every hour of every day in Washington DC.

Russia Requests Access to Incirlik

Russian officials have reached out to Ankara to request access to the American-built base as a convenient launch pad for airstrikes in the Syrian theater, but it remains to be seen whether such cooperation will roil NATO’s feathers.

Russia has called on Turkey to provide access to NATO’s Incirlik Air Base, the critical launch pad for US and coalition airstrikes in Syria, in a bid to expand the country’s influence in the Middle East and to further the goal of combatting radical jihadist groups, primarily Daesh and al-Nusra, that threaten peace and stability in Syria.

The base is home to at least 50 US B-61 nuclear warheads each carrying the potential destructive capacity of 100 times the Hiroshima bomb, a reality that led to heightened concern among American officials during, and in the wake of, the failed coup attempt of the Erdogan regime.

Page 19: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

Sitting only 65 miles from the Syrian border, defense analysts, including the former White House arms control official under Bill Clinton, have cautioned that these weapons are not safe from the Daesh terrorist organization and other hostile elements who could conceivably breach the perimeter if Americans are left unaided by Turkish police forces.

That fear likely grew more elevated as Turkey has drifted towards Russia in the wake of the coup with senior officials, including the Turkish President himself, insinuating if not outright claiming that the United States played a hand in the failed attempt to overthrow the government and with a brewing diplomatic row developing between Washington and Ankara over the State Department’s refusal to clear the extradition of Fethullah Gulen, who has been alleged to have been the mastermind of the failed coup.

The brewing situation between the United States and Russia has opened the door for the reestablishment of relations between Moscow and Ankara including increased defense and strategic cooperation in Syria.

"It just remains to come to an agreement with Erdogan that we get the NATO base Incirlik as [our] primary airbase," Senator Igor Morozov, a member of the upper house’s committee on international affairs said reports the British newspaper The Times. He explained that the development would enable the Russian air force to engage in "constant bombing" of Daesh and other jihadist groups to bring the conflict to a resolution faster.

"You’ll see, the next base will be Incirlik," he told Izvestia after the Kremlin revealed this week that its bombers had started flying out of Iran to launch attack on Syria. "This will be one more victory for Putin."

Another Senator, Viktor Ozerov, told RIA Novosti, "It’s not certain that Russia needs Incirlik, but such a decision would be seen as a real willingness on Turkey’s part to cooperate with Russia in the war against terrorism in Syria."

Is America Relocating Nukes from Incirlik

On Monday, the Stimson Center, a Washington DC-based nonprofit think tank, released a report, urging policymakers in the US to remove B61 nuclear bombs from Europe and strengthen conventional forces instead. Some people, including me, are thinking that the reason General Dunford was expedited to Incirlik was to negotiate the hostage situation where the base was being held by Erdogan after the failed NATO attempt to remove him from office. The rapid deployment team was foiled by Putin special forces that prevented the downing of Erdogan’s plane with him in it. NBS issued a fake Tweet that Erdogan was “circling Frankfurt looking for asylum.” This was blatant misdirection while the Coup was executed by pro Fethulah Gulen forces teamed up with the NATO special team.

Igor Morozov, a member of the Russia's Federation Council (upper chamber of Russian parliament), former member of parliamentary committee on international affairs said: "It just remains to come to an agreement with Erdogan that we get the NATO base Incirlik as [our] primary airbase… You'll see, the next base will be Incirlik." This information has been published in The Times today, on August 20th.

Page 20: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

Later, on Thursday, August 18th, Sputnik reported information initially published by Brussels-based EurActiv news outlet saying that the US forces have started an operation of relocation of its nuclear weapons from Incirlik to Deveselu base in Romania.

In about an hour since the initial report on Sputnik, Romanian Foreign Ministry officially denied that the country is going to host the US nuclear weapons in a letter to Russian RIA Novosti news agency.

Later that day Sputnik attempted to contact the US Department of Defense, but its spokesman Adam Stump declined to either confirm or deny the information.

Yesterday, on August 19th, Foreign Policy published an article, named "No, the the U.S. Is Not Moving Its Nukes From Turkey to Romania." The article quotes a nuclear weapons expert Jeffrey Lewis, calling the information unlikely. According to Lewis, Romania lacks the required infrastructure needed to store the weapons safely. Unfortunately, Foreign Policy did not provide any official confirmation or denial for the message.

On August 20th, World Bulletin published an article citing Amy Woolf, a researcher for nuclear weapons policy for the U.S. Congressional Research Service. According to Woolf, the nuclear weapons at Incirlik cannot be used, because they required a massive bomber that could drop them.

On August 20th, the Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim said that Russia could possibly use country's southern Incirlik Air Base if it becomes necessary. He also added that up to this point, Russia had no need for this base.

What's really going on at Incirlik?

While it's clearly impossible to say for sure, there are some more publications on the Web that drop hints at what may be happening.

There are reports on various websites citing a Tweet posted on August 16th by Ibrahim Karagul, a chief editor of Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak, saying "Nuclear weapons at Incirlik should be transferred to Turkey. Or Turkey should take these weapons into its own hands."

While this is solely a personal opinion of a particular Turkish citizen, it is interesting in connection with another publication.

On August 17th, a Turkish journalist Taha Dagli has published an analytic article at Haber7 media outlet. Russian InoSMI news agency has provided a translation of the article. According to Taha Dagli, the original report by Stimson Center implies that, should unrest and chaos spike in Turkey, the nuclear weapons at Incirlik may fall into hands of Turkey, Russia and Iran.

These weapons could be reverse engineered and reproduced, Dagli says. Thus, Turkey or even Iran may get their own nuclear weapons, based on reverse-engineered American bombs. But why would Turkey aim to capture these bombs if it does not have a plane capable of delivering them?

Page 21: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

Dagli assumes that this could be used as an excuse for actions against Turkey, as it happened with the occupation of Iraq, which was justified by "fabricated nuclear weapons reports, saying ‘Iraq produces nuclear weapons'", Dagli writes. Westerners find the journalist's concerns to be without merit.

"There was a great hope in July 15th, and the main source of this hope was Incirlik Airbase," he writes, referring to a failed coup attempt in Turkey. "All designs have failed, but, apparently, there are new plans being constructed involving Incirlik."

The B61 bombs stored at Incirlik, have first been put on service in 1968. But since then they have been upgraded many times, the last time being in 2012, which make an arguably contemporary weapon.

The New American Household

In America today, more than 60 million people live in multi-generational households.  That number is so large that it may seem difficult to believe, but the truth is that vast numbers of young adults have had to move back in with their parents and grandparents in recent years due to the deteriorating economy.  I am not talking about small children, here. I am talking about 20-40 somethings who have been out on their own for a number of years, become victims of Federal tyranny, and have retreated to their parent’s homes to rebuild their lives. Most of them would rather have their own lives. They would prefer that their business didn’t go broke or that their employer would not have been forced out of business by Federal regulations. Most of them fully intend to get back out and try it again, once they honor their creditors and pay off their debts.

But here’s the problem. Millions of our young people cannot find decent jobs once they leave school, and millions of them are absolutely overwhelmed by debt.  But, what is the root cause of that problem? Some might argue that these young people are lazy, but that is rare. Most of them are using their parent’s pad as a safety net. Why do they need it? Some call it bad judgment with a credit card. Some call it, college debt. Some call it the high cost of living with a vastly depressed wage base.

According to the Pew Research Center, 12 percent of the U.S. population was living in multi-generational households back in 1980.  Today, that number is up to 19 percent.  That means nearly one out of every five U.S. adults now live with their parents or their grandparents.

People can argue that kids today won’t drive an older car with high miles because that’s all they can afford. I’ll cover that in a minute. One of the big culprits the left would have you believe, of course, is student loan debt. According to CNN, approximately 70 percent of all college graduates will have student loan debt to pay off once they leave school, and the average loan balance for those graduates is about $28,950. That is typical and not too bad to pay off. I had spent about $48,000, and I paid every dime of it back with interest with my earnings while I raised 4 kids. Did I have a new car? No. Did I buy a big house? Nope. That’s the way it is if you intend to pay back your student loans. You got the knowledge, now go apply it.

But there are many that run up $100,000 in debt at high end schools for degrees that prepare you to be a community barnacle. When I was an engineering manager, I had a boss who had a

Page 22: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Really? Yes, really.  Talk about worthless. Yes, he was. I encourage young people to apply to the “best schools” that they possibly can, and I recommend that they should focus on fields of study that will earn a good living by being productive to society. I assure them that they will be able to easily pay back any debts once they leave college because of the “good jobs” that they will get upon graduation. Of course it means they cannot take on any other debts until that loan is paid back. Do they listen? Hell no.

Now, that does not change the fact that millions upon millions of our young people have discovered that the good jobs that they were promised simply do not exist. Oh, they don’t exist for 30 year olds, either. Or 40 years olds. And after 50, they get even more rare. In fact, if you are a degreed professional in America over the age of 59, you are facing almost certain unemployment for the rest of your life if things continue the way Obama had set them up. Dodd-Frank makes it illegal for banks to loan money to startups, which ensures there will never be any jobs for anyone, unless they are government jobs. The current unemployment rate for experienced degreed engineers in North Carolina over the age of 55 is close to 35%. After 60, it is closer to 65% unemployment. The old saying that if you cannot get a job, you make a job has been rendered meaningless, because Obama has hunted down and solicited every investor in America so hard that they are now hiding outside the country.

After nearly 20 years of earnestly paying off credit card debt, Americans’ use of credit cards has recently been creeping up again: Household debt in the United States increased by $35 billion, to $12.29 trillion, during the second quarter of 2016, a 0.3 percent rise from the previous quarter that was driven by credit cards and auto loans, according to a report released on Tuesday by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. By the way, that is money that earns the banks 30% interest on a balance that is set up to remain constant for at least 50 years, if you make the minimum payments. And those car loans? Take a good look at the next mortgage bubble about to burst. Millions of car loans are in danger of complete default, except there is nothing of any value to back those loans. Less than 5% of cars are worth the lien against the title.

We often criticize the federal government for being 19.4 trillion dollars in debt, and rightly so, but let us not forget that U.S. households are 12.2 trillion dollars in debt. And for what? Nothing. Nothing at all to show for the debt. Restaurants, movies, alcohol, clothes, and groceries. We are a society that feels entitled to everything, and we are not afraid to go into debt to get it.  And unfortunately we have passed on this “entitlement mentality” to the next generation. We want frequent flier miles, hotel points, 1% cash back, and we want it now.

Listen people; you are in charge. Most of you will pay for your own higher education. And if you don’t get it, you are most certainly relegated to working on a factory line, if you can be lucky enough to get the job.

You parents are overprotective and prevent your children from playing outside and making mistakes you had a chance to make to gain that thick skin. You don’t let your 12-year-old kid stay at home alone because they are too young. And who is wrong when your child has a conflict at school? I bet you always blame the other side, not your “special snowflake”. And you are surprised when the whole generation is offended by facing the truth? You are just another plastic player trying to look good. It must hurt, right?

This generation of young adults is the most “educated” in our history, and yet they also appear to be one of the least competent.

Half of American Millennials score below the minimum standard of literacy proficiency. Only two countries scored worse by that measure: Italy (60 percent) and Spain (59 percent). 67% of college students in other countries scored better that America in math. That placed U.S. Millennials dead last for math among the study’s 22 developed countries.

In the old days, our institutions of higher learning had exceedingly high standards and they demanded the best from students.  Today, our system of higher education is a joke compared to campus life 20 years ago.

At Brown University – like Harvard, one of the eight elite Ivy League universities – the New York Times reported students set up a “safe space” that offered calming music, cookies, Play-Doh and a video of frolicking puppies” to help students cope with a discussion on how colleges should handle sexual assault. Boo freakin hoo.

A Harvard student described in the university newspaper attending a “safe space” complete with “massage circles” that was designed to help students have open conversations. But not too real of conversations. Nothing that might actually hurt their feelings. We have raised a generation of overly-coddled, self-absorbed girlie boys and girlie girls that have never learned how to become men and women.  And since our education system is completely and totally dominated by progressives, our young people have had decades of liberal propaganda pumped into their skulls, and the results are absolutely frightening.

For example, one survey discovered that 62 percent of Millennials say that they are “liberal”, and 42 percent of them say that they are “socialists”. Like there’s a difference. That’s like saying half of Mormons are Latter Day Saints.

A different survey discovered that more than half of all U.S. adults under the age of 30 say that they reject capitalism. Why is that? Because they are broke and want someone to please give them a living wage, so they can go off and get high and live. The rich have the money, so they should give us some. It’s not fair that they have money to buy a new smart phone and we don’t. We are forced to live with a phone that won’t text more than 500 times a month. I mean come on. That is just not fair.

If the coming election were to be determined by the Millennials, Hillary Clinton would win by one of the biggest landslides in U.S. history.  The scary thing is that if Hillary had not bought off the super-delegates with years of small manila envelopes of cash, Bernie would have won the primary by 22%. I don’t know about you, but when the majority of the country thinks that private property should be banned, health care should be free to everyone, and kids should be able to stay in school for their whole lives with free housing and free food and free, green tech mass transportation for everyone is very very frightening. We would all starve and then choke on our own human waste if no one worked.

Newsweek Is Now History.  The liberal Newsweek Magazine is going out of business, but not before it attacks the President.  This is quite an article, even more so when you consider that NEWSWEEK finally had the guts to admit it. WOW!  Newsweek COVER!!!  It is their last cover before they fold.  Also read the article at the end. AMAZING!!!

Finally, Matt Patterson and Newsweek speak out about Obama.  This is timely and tough.  As many of you know, Newsweek has a reputation for being extremely liberal.  The fact that their editor saw fit to print the following article about Obama and the one that appears in the latest Newsweek, makes this a truly amazing event, and a news story in and of itself.  At last, the truth about our President and his Agenda are starting to trickle through the protective wall built around him by the liberal media...

Newsweek Closed its Doors

By Matt Patterson Feb 16, 2016

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages.  How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military, execute the world's most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League, despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a "community organizer;" a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, less often did he vote "present"); and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.

He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator.  And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama's "spiritual mentor;" a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama's colleague and political sponsor.  It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?  There is no evidence that he ever attended or worked for any university or that he ever sat for the Illinois bar.  We have no documentation for any of his claims.  He may well be the greatest hoax in history . Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day.

But because Mr.   Obama was black , and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberal Dom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were 'a bit' extreme, he was given a pass.  Let that Sink in: Obama was given a pass - held to a lower standard

Page 25: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

because of the color of his skin.  Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) "non-threatening," all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest? Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon - affirmative action.  Not in the legal sense, of course.  But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.  Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back.

Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow.  Liberals don't care if these minority students fail; liberals aren't around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self-esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action.  Yes, racist.  Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin - that's affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn't racism, then nothing is.  And that is what America did to Obama.  True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be?  As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate.  All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.

What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks?  In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory skills, intellect, and cool character.  Those people - conservatives included - ought now to be deeply embarrassed.  The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that's when he has his Teleprompters in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.  Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth - it's all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years.  (An example is his 2012 campaign speeches which are almost word for word his 2008 speeches)

And what about his character?  Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles.  Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. Remember, he wanted the job, campaigned for the task.  It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence.  (The other day he actually came out and said no one could have done anything to get our economy and country back on track).  But really, what were we to expect?  The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job.  When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense.  It could not have gone otherwise with such an impostor in the Oval Office.

The truth is, that if Newsweek would have published true, hard-hitting articles like this, they would still be in business today. No more paychecks for you. An even sadder statement is that

there are no main stream sources today that will write an article like this. Not one. That is why X-Squared Radio is flourishing and growing every single week; because people want to hear the truth, even if it hurts.

The End of America is at Hand

Hillary Clinton’s campaign has reportedly begun developing an agenda for her possible presidency — and a Cabinet that'll be filled with about as many women as men.

The Washington Post   reports Clinton's initial agenda plans include measures to create jobs, to boost infrastructure spending and for immigration reform.

She also also plans to propose new measures on campaign-finance reform and to end legal immunity for gun manufacturers, according to the Post.

Her cabinet, the Post reports, will be packed with women "in roughly equal numbers to men and that otherwise reflects American diversity." Lobbying has already "intensified" for those and "scores of other jobs" in a new administration, the Post reports.

According to the Post, out of some 4,000 political jobs to fill, more than 1,000 require Senate confirmation, and vetting, security clearances and ethics checks can take months.

Felicia Wong, the president and chief executive officer of the liberal Roosevelt Institute in New York, tells the Post the group has worked for six months to compile a list of "multiple hundreds" of people to recommend for administration positions.

"There’s no way to execute on that kind of ambitious policy agenda without excellent leadership," Wong tells the Post, adding that advancing proposals in Congress on jobs and infrastructure would help put Clinton in a better position to push parts of her agenda.

But her biggest challenge will be "the environment in which she comes to office," the Post quotes one unnamed ex-Obama administration official saying.

"I don’t think any president has come to office underwater on their favorable image," the source tells the Post. "This would be uncharted waters coming to office as an unpopular person. You don’t have a wellspring of goodwill to draw on, even in the first 100 days."

In the Meantime

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told "Fox News Sunday" he would indict the Clinton Foundation as a "racketeering enterprise" if he "were back at my old job as U.S. Attorney."

"This in an insider vs. outsider campaign," Giuliani said Sunday of the presidential race between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump. "She is the consummate corrupt Washington insider, and she is thoroughly corrupt with the Clinton Foundation."

Giuliani has been stumping for presidential nominee Trump against Mrs. Clinton this summer and points to the actions of her foundation to be far more serious than merely unethical.

"They took money from money launderers, criminals, dictators, people who abuse women as a matter of government policy," Giuliani said. "She did favors for the very people who gave money to the Clinton Foundation. . . . In my day that was considered bribery.

The DHA Ordered to Scrub Records of Muslim Plans

As we continue to learn details about the terror attack that took the lives of 49 people at a popular Orlando nightclub, we’re now learning that the attack might have been preventable. A whistleblower from the Department of Homeland Security has come forward to claim that the department scrubbed records that tied Muslims to terrorism, records that might have prevented the attacks in both San Bernardino and Orlando.

Philip Haney was a founding member of the DHS, beginning his work for the department in 2003. His job, as he explains it, was “connecting the dots” between individuals, organizations, and networks across the country that may have had ties to terrorism.

In 2009, six years into his tenure with the department, Haney claims critical information about U.S. based Muslims with terror ties, which represented years of painstaking work, were deleted from the DHS’s records.

“It was directed from DHS headquarters,” Haney said on Tuesday’s Hannity. “It’s important to keep in mind that that was one year after the November 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial, the

Page 28: Jihad Report Aug 13, 2016 -Aug 19, 2016x2-radio.com/Notes/2016/X2-Radio_2016-8-21.docx  · Web viewA new paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters describes ... from Titan's

largest terror trial in American history, that irrefutably proved that these individuals from the Muslim Brotherhood front groups were in direct financial support of Hamas.”

It was during this trial that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America, and the North American Islamic Trust were named as un-indicted co-conspirators in funneling money to the terrorist organization Hamas.

According to Haney, orders to purge DHS records came down shortly after President Obama took office in 2009 and then again in 2012. He believes that both the San Bernardino and Orlando attacks might have been prevented had the purges not occurred.

“In the case of San Bernardino, Syed Farook, and his wife, you had identified that mosque as a place you believe we should have been paying attention to?” Sean asked Haney.

“Yes. There’s an entire network of those kinds of mosques across the United States and I found out a couple of days ago that the mosque in Fort Pierce is also related to the same network,” Haney answered.

The San Bernardino attack was particularly preventable according to Haney. “Either Syed Farook would have been put on the no-fly list and not allowed to travel or his pending fiancé would have been denied a visa because of his affiliation with an organization with plausible ties to terrorism. That’s at least two different ways we could have stopped it.”

This is disgusting. Our President has the blood of American people on his hands. We MUST elect Trump for things to change! And then after that, he should investigate all of this and indict these bastards and put them in jail. How they dare to do this kind of insane things that cost us lives?!

It is of key importance that all U.S. media notify the public about this information. The American people have the right to know the truth, and who’s to blame and face the consequences for these careless acts.
