Note : 5% seats in all courses Ist year & Leet are offered under tuition fee B.Tech

waiver scheme for which admissions are done by PTU. No ee is chargedf for any

course from SC/ST students of Punjab whose family income from all sources is less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh per annum. For this SC/ST/OBC/Minority students of Punjab &

CONVOCATIONThe First Annual Convocation of the college presided over

by S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Cabinet Minister for Technical

Education & Industrial Training was held on 4th June 2017.

Mr. Anantharaman A.V., Chief Human Resources &

Compliance Officer, Unichem Laboratories Ltd. was the

Guest of Honour.

In this convocation 12 Laptops and Gold Medals were given ,

to the students who captured first positions in IKG PTU. -

Another 116 students were given cash prizes of Rs.5000/-

each and gold medals for bagging 'Second to Tenth'

positions in merit lists of IKG PTU. A total of 618 degrees of -

Dietetics is the science and art of taking food based on the

principles of nutrition. Diet plays a major role in promotion of

health and well being of individuals. Nutritionists and

dieticians are concerned with this aspect. While dietetics is

related to food management, nutrition is related to

promotion of health. Due to changes in food habits of most of

the urban population, role of nutritionists and dieticians is

becoming more important. They suggest correct food quality

& quantity taking into account various aspects of an

individual such as age, work routine, eating habits thereby

improving their quality of life. They also educate their clients

about preparation of food according to the principles of

nutrition. They impart knowledge about food production and

One of the most distinguishing features of CGC Jhanjeri is “Student Care Centre” (SCC). This Centre works under Dean Students Welfare (DSW). Its purpose is to provide single spot solution for all problems of the students & ensure their solution within 24 hours. Students can approach SCC in case of any problem related with academics, sports, hostel, bus or any other issue.
