You can download the extension archive from 'My Account' section at iKantam store - check under 'My Downloadable Products'. To install the extension please follow these steps:

• First, you need to log in to the Magento administrator area. Then go to System -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager.

• A new page will open for the Magento Connect Manager and you will be asked to provide your administrative credentials again. These are security measures, please log in using your admin access.

• Once logged in you will see 2 sections: Extensions and Settings. It is recommended to verify the options chosen in the Settings section first. In the Settings section there are several options you can configure, but leaving the default values is recommended.

• Go to Extensions section, find the tab “Direct package file upload” and upload the archive that you’ve received from us to magento. That’s it - you’ve installed the extension.

• Don’t forget to go to the admin area > System > Cache Management, click 'Select All', choose 'Refresh' option in the dropdown and click 'Submit' button.

Important Note: After you are done with the extension installation, Logout from the Magento administrator area. After your next log in you’ll be able to use all the extension functionality.

Follow these steps:

• At the bottom of the Extensions section find the list of all installed extensions. Find 'Jewelry Product Configurator' extension. In the Action dropdown select 'Uninstall' and click 'Commit Changes'

To manage the extension log in to the Magento administrator area.

Configurator replaces basic magento store product filtering and search functionality that is why managing extension is closely knitted with the products creation. To create products go to: magento->catalog->manage products.

Creating product type ‘Diamond’:Go to magento->catalog->manage products and click ‘Add product’ button; set field: ‘Attribute set’ to ‘Loose Diamonds’; and ‘Product Type’ to: ‘Simple product’.

Creating product type ‘Ring’:Go to magento->catalog->manage products and click ‘Add product’ button; set field: ‘Attribute set’ to ‘Rings’; and ‘Product Type’ to: ‘Configurable Product’.

Then open created configurable product and open tab ‘Associated Products’ and in this interface create product (product type: ‘Simple product’):

Then open created configurable product and open tab ‘Associated Products’ and in this interface create product (product type: ‘Simple product’):


After that, add a new product with 'product type' parameter – Bundle Product (name it for example: Diamond+Ring) and assign existing simple and/or configurable products to it. You MUST indicate: ‘Default Title’: (Diamond, Ring). This product needed so users could add to cart two products ring and diamond but as only one product.

1st step: go to: System->Import/Export->Dataflow – Profiles Click ‘Add new profile’

1st step: go to: System->Import/Export->Dataflow – Profiles Click ‘Add new profile’

2nd step: Set up required parameters and click Save and Continue Edit button. Then click Select Upload File button and pick file, don’t forget to save changes.

3rd step: Select Run Profile, select uploaded file, Run Profile in Popup

CSV file –structure:1. Create test products with the attribute sets: Loose Diamond, Ring, etc. Note attributes will appear in system only after the installation of the Jewelry Configurator module;

2. To get a sample of the csv file go to: System->Import/Export->Dataflow – Profilesand Export All Products. (see the screenshot):

3. Delete test products.
