Tristan meets a drug dealer down a dark alley at night who gives him a mysterious pill. This is seen through a high angle shot through the eyes of a CCTV camera.

Tristan sits down on a ledge inside the alley and takes the pill straight away out of curiosity. Tristan suddenly feels the effects and a zoom close up shows what Tristan is experiencing.

We experience Tristan's hallucination in a nightmare like sequence of jump cuts and intense music where we see a clown take a school girl away with him.

After the hallucination Tristan; who is still in the effects of the drug; panics and runs home whilst still getting visions of his nightmare-like hallucination. This is seen through a POV shot.

Tristan arrives at his home alone where the effects of the drug are wearing off as he stops seeing visions. He holds the door to help him stand up and limps down the hallway.

Tristan then sits down in his living room and where his TV is already on. With an over the shoulder shot and close up, he switches channels to the News and finds out his hallucinations were real life event.

When the news reporter shows a sketch of the suspect, Tristan recognizes him from his hallucinations and visions and Tristan’s condition is left unknown and ambiguous with a close up of the clowns face.

We then enter the 1 minute compilation of short and swift cuts of inside the clowns lair with close ups of newspaper cuttings, candles, teddy bears and balloons with tense music playing over the top.

The titles are shown nearer the end which are played over the roof beams of the clowns lair. The opening ends of a close up of the clowns face and is left for curiosity for what's left of a complete movie.
