Imagine having a date set for

a surgical procedure and then,

like magic, the body heals it-

self and surgery is no longer

required. For Greg and LanessaHess and their son Garrett, it

wasnt magic; it was the bodys

own capacity for healing,

In the fall of 2009, when my

son was a year and a half, he

started having reoccurring ear

infectionsas many as six

in a ve month period, said

Lanessa. Our family doc-

tor recommended going to

an ENT specialist. It was de-

I was impressed by how

In Garretts case, his

spine was slightly out of

alignment, possibly from

a 2009 fall from a swing

set. This caused the ver-tebra in his neck to mis-

Now a happy and active four

year-old, Garrett no longe

suffers from ear infections.
