PENANG HILL Penang Hill: Rising to almost 821 meters above sea level, this is one of the most popular destinations for tourists, offering a panoramic view of the entire island. A train takes visitors to the top of the hill, which also houses a Hindu temple, mosque and church and also hosts a snake show.

Kek Lok Si Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia. The temple houses a pagoda of a 1000 Buddhas, statues made from various precious materials, combining Chinese, Burmese and Thai styles in one structure. Penang Bird Park is probably a much better place to visit than some of the other overpriced places.The Penang Bird Park was established in 1988 and officially opened by the then Prime Minister o f Malaysia YAB Dato's Seri Dr.mahatir bin mohamad. It houses over 150 species of birds from all over the world. There counted, and there are at least 211 species of birds and animals, predominatly birds.
