JemmSil RS100 HIGH RELEASE SLEEVES

JemmSil RS100 is a proprietary rubber sleeve which features excellent release properties,

very good wear properties, a low C.O.F. surface and very good temperature resistance.

JemmSil RS100 is the ideal alternative to applications requiring more expensive bonded

rubber coverings and release hard coatings. JemmSil RS100 High Release Sleeves fit over

existing idler rolls and eliminate the need for sending your rollers out to be covered, as they can

be easily applied in your plant.

Our JemmSil RS100 High Release Sleeves feature a continuous operating temperature of

350º F and an intermittent service temperature of 400º F. This covering can be cleaned with

IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) and Water, however we recommend our JemmClean TR Treater

Roll Cleaning Solution.

JemmSil HS100 High Release Teflon® FEP Heat

Shrink Coverings offer excellent r elease proper ties,

outstanding chemical resistance and low C.O.F. surfaces,

making them ideal for many web processing applications.

Common applications include idler rolls on extrusion coating

and laminating nip rollers, coating idler rolls, laminating idler

Shrink Roller Coverings are available in .020” or .060”

a high temperature resistant thermoplastic heat shrinkable sleeve. JemmSil HS200

is ideal for applications requiring high temperature, non-stick properties and is often

used in place of the more expensive release hard coatings. JemmSil HS200 High

ing an industrial heat gun. The sleeves are simply slid over your existing roller core.

Even heat is then applied, causing the sleeve to shrink fit onto the roller.

JemmSil HS300 High Release, Wear Resistant PTFE

Heat Shrink Coverings offer excellent release properties,

outstanding chemical resistance and excellent wear

resistance, making them ideal for many web processing

applications.

Common applications include idler rolls on coating and

laminating lines, printing press idler rolls, slitting lines, foil

processing lines, bowed roll covers, papermaking and more.


Heat Shrink Roller Coverings are manufactured with

a .060” wall thickness, and supplied as a bondable covering

with adhesive, as a standard. They are available in diameters

5” to 15’. Each sleeve is custom made for each application.


Heat Shrink Coverings provide excellent wear resistance,

having proven to last at least 4 to 10 times longer than

standard FEP Teflon® heat shrink sleeves. They are resistant

to most chemicals and can withstand continuous operating

temperatures up to 400° F and short periods up to 550°F.

The Concept Behind The JemmTac Component Web Cleaner

JemmTac Component Style Web Cleaners can be mounted over most existing idler rolls, with a silicone based contact

cleaning roller covering. Designed to be compact, the JemmTac Component Style Web Cleaner, employs pneumatic actua-

tors to move the JemmTac Pre-Sheeted Adhesive Roll in to and out of contact with the contact cleaning roller . This ena-

bles the JemmTac Component Style Web Cleaner to be mounted in a 7” x 7” footpr int, with any or ientation.

A silicone based contact cleaning roller (CCR) covering, such as our JemmTac Web Cleaning

Sleeve, is applied to an existing idler roller . The JemmTac Component Web Cleaner is then

mounted so that the JemmTac Pre-Sheeted Adhesive, which is housed in the JemmTac

Component Web Cleaner, is capable of nipping onto the opposite side of the contact cleaning roll

that the web passes over, as shown in the picture. The JemmTac Component Web Cleaner is then

able to move the adhesive roll in to and out of contact with the CCR, for line stoppages, sheet removal

and JemmTac Pre-Sheeted Adhesive roll r eplacement. The JemmTac Component Web Cleaner can easily be

bolted on to most equipment using existing machine end frames.

The JemmTac Component Web Cleaner features a simple,

easy access latch design, which enables the operator to replace

adhesive rolls quickly and easily. It relies on pneumatics to move

the adhesive roll into and out of position either automatically

with the line, or manually by the operator. Thus, the system only

requires a clean, oil free compressed air supply and a 115V

power line. JemmTac Component Style Web Cleaners are

available in even sizes from 6” to 80”.

web cleaning applications and will stand up to any other CCR roller on the market today.

JemmTac Pre-Sheeted Adhesive Rolls feature a simple, efficient means of removing

dirt and contaminants from silicone based contact cleaning rollers. These pre-sheeted adhesive

rolls act as a strong storage reservoir for the contamination removed from the web and keeps

the contact cleaning roller in optimal working condition for extended periods of time.

Formulated specifically for contact web cleaning applications our JemmTac Pre-Sheeted

Adhesive Rolls eliminate the need for operators to use knives to remove the used paper ,

this patent applied for design, is proven to be safer, easier to use and less wasteful then the

more conventional methods. Each adhesive roll contains 68 sheets, eliminating the possibility
