FUNCTIONALITY

The new optional Summit Indigo & Sky Grey Laguna leather surpasses

the boundaries of stunning design, with wrapped interior and indigo

accent stitching on the front and rear door armrests and console lid

as well as indigo piping on the seats. The steering wheel is leather

wrapped with indigo and colour keyed stitching. The interior is finished

with a new gunmetal paint and with open pore black wood with high

gloss interior appliques and steering wheel accent.

Ventilated seats are standard and the Summit trim level also

comes with a variety of interior trim options and colours, such

as the brown wooden fascia and Moroccan sun finish. The Natura

Plus leather seats come in a number of colour options such as

Dark Sienna Brown, Morocco Black and Grand Canyon Brown.

The new Summit Sport seat comes in Black Laguna leather, with

ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION SYSTEM

The innovative ANC System contrasts and eliminates all engine noise

inside the vehicle. It is detected in real time by microphones and opposing

sound waves are then emitted in order to cancel out all annoying low

ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS

The seatbacks are integrated with two optional 9” VGA high-resolution

screens, ready to entertain rear-seat passengers. This system is able to

The Quadra-Trac II® 4x4 system features a two-speed transfer case that

uses input from a variety of sensors in order to determine tire slip at the

earliest possible moment and take corrective action. When tire slippage is

detected, up to 100% of the available torque is instantly routed to the axle

with the most traction.

The 4x4 system features a massive mechanical “wet” clutch and Electronic

Limited Slip Diff erential in the rear, which allows 100% of the available

torque to be sent to one rear wheel. Managing of torque split and suspension

damping is accomplished with a dial on the fi ve-mode Selec-Trac®system.

Comes as standard with the SRT.

QUADRA-LIFT® AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM

This revolutionary system gives you total control over your suspension by raising

your vehicle’s ground clearance up to a maximum of 274 mm. You can also lower

it down by 25 mm for easy entry, exit and loading. The system will raise the vehicle

from back to front to help keep your headlights focused on the road.

SELEC-TERRAIN® TRACTION SYSTEM

The Selec-Terrain® system adapts traction performance with a selectable

dial that allows you to switch between settings that include Snow, Sand,

Auto, Mud and Rock. It gives you ultimate driving confi dence by co-ordinating

12 vehicle systems, including throttle control, transmission shifting, transfer

case, traction control and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Sport mode

delivers a more aggressive traction performance and is activated through

a one-touch button.

ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS

Wherever you’re going, the Grand Cherokee comes with a range of diesel

and petrol engines for whatever the world throws at you. It also comes with

incredibly effi cient 8-speed automatic transmission for better driving comfort

and fuel economy.

3.0L V6 MULTIJET II DIESEL

The 3.0 Multijet II diesel engine delivers the power you need to climb, tow and

go anywhere with confi dence. With full command of 250 HP of power and 570

Nm of torque, this strong performer provides a huge surge of towing strength.

The advanced technology of the Multijet II Common-Rail injection works to help

deliver a smooth and quiet ride, whether on the road or on the trail. The 3.0

litre powertrain is also off ered in an alternative version that delivers 190 HP of

power at 4.000 rpm and 440 Nm of torque across 1.600 – 2.800 rpm.

3.6L V6 PENTASTAR®

Three times named one of Ward’s “10 Best Engines,” the Pentastar® engine

successfully combines strength with an effi cient performance. It delivers 286

HP of power at 6.350 rpm and 347 Nm of torque at 4.300 rpm.

5.7L V8 MDS VVT

The 5.7L V8 MDS VVT engine delivers 352 HP and a brawny 520 Nm. The 5.7

litre engine’s Fuel Saver Technology with cylinder-deactivation seamlessly

alternates between smooth, high-fuel economy 4 cylinder mode when less

power is needed, and V8 mode when more power is required. This optimizes

fuel economy when the V8’s power is not required, without having to sacrifi ce

vehicle performance or capability.

6.4L V8 HEMI®

The Jeep® Grand Cherokee SRT is powered by the 6.4 litre HEMI® V8 engine, fi tted

with Fuel Saver Technology. This powerful engine delivers 468 HP and 624 Nm

of torque and ensures the Grand Cherokee SRT’s benchmark performance of

0-100 km/h in less than 5 seconds, top speed of 257 km/h.

This system provides a visual and audible warning, plus feedback warning

in the form of torque applied to the steering wheel should the vehicle drift

outside of lane boundaries or if the driver’s hands are off the wheel.

New Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist

This active guiding system is available to automatically control steering

using ultrasonic sensors that help you ease into parking spots. Includes

ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist sensors.

PARKSENSE® FRONT AND READ PARK ASSIST SYSTEM

Working in tandem with ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera to show previously

hidden objects, this optional brings them to your attention on-screen and

with an audible warning so you have time to react. When in Reverse, the

on-screen image includes a dynamic distance grid to help gauge your rear

perimeter.

BLIND SPOT MONITORING AND READ CROSS-PATH DETECTIONS

They monitor the space between you and other drivers. When a side or rear

blind spot is encroached, you’re notified via illuminated icons on the wing

mirrors or through an audible chime.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP (ACC STOP)

Take the guesswork out of keeping a safe distance from the car ahead while

cruising on the highway. This optional system automatically adjusts cruising

speed to maintain a pre-set distance between you and the vehicle ahead and

can bring the Grand Cherokee to a complete stop without driver intervention

to help avoid a collision.

FORWARD COLLISION WARNING WITH ACTIVE BRAKING (FCW+)

The sensors detect when the Grand Cherokee may be approaching

another vehicle too rapidly and send an audible and visual alert to the

driver along with providing 1.5 seconds of brake assistance if the driver

doesn’t react in time.

ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)

A vehicle-wide network of safety sensors that helps maintain vehicle

control, providing instant aid should they detect you’re veering off your

intended path. ESC coordinates Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM), the

antilock brake system (ABS) and Brake Assist, all-speed traction control

and the optional Trailer Sway Control (TSC) sending them into action

when needed.

PARKVIEW® READ BACK-UP CAMERA WITH TRAILER VIEW

Back out safely with grace. This system comes as standard and helps

bring previously hidden rear objects to your attention, either on-screen

or with an audible warning, giving you plenty of time to react. You can also
