Solutions for Testing Enterprise Copper Coppercabling isdominant in theEnterprise, connecting thevastmajorityofdevicestothenetwork.Whenbuildingorupgradinganetwork,itiscriticaltotestcopper runs to ensure proper installation and ability to support the service they will carry.Whenperforming regularmoves, adds, and changes (MACs) in anoperational network, it is important to test the cabling and eliminate it as a cause of networkconnectivityandperformanceissues.Mostcoppertesttoolssupportbasictests such as wiremap, length, tone generation, and tracing of cables using passive IDdevices.However,testingbeyondthesesimpleparametersisoftenrequired.Whenselectingatesterforcoppercabling,ensurethatthetester:

• Performstestsappropriatetotheneed Differentscenariosrequiredifferenttestingapproaches.Typically,newbuilding
