F.A.T. Village Cultural and performance center
The design goal was to help F.A.T. Village grow as an art district community. F.A.T. Village current characteristics defines it as diverse art district, from painting, to photography, to technological arts. However, as you drive by the district its character of diversity is not reflected on the facades. Everything is hidden and disconnected. The Cultural and performance Center will reflect what F.A.T. Village stands for, and it will become a center where all different types of artist come and interact with each other while allowing visitors to appreciate F.A.T. Village at all times.

The design goal was to enhance Downtown Fort Lauderdale desire for a better life style. It is currently in the process of transforming the city into a more walkable and active downtown. The human performance center is in the center of fort Lauderdale which allows to create a direct connection between the Broward County Main Library with the NSU Art Museum as well as it creates an indirect connection to Florida Atlantic University, Las Olas Blvd and Himmarshee. The center possesses an extension of the Broward County Main Library focusing on knowledge for healthy living. The Human Performance Center brings a sport complex and a gym for the residents and for the students at Florida Atlantic university. The center will help develop Fort Lauderdale new vision.

Architecture at Zero 2013 is a zero net energy design competition open to students and professionals worldwide, engaging architecture, engineering, planning students and professionals in the pursuit of energy efficient design. The 2013 challenge was to create a design for a new, roughly 150 units mixed - use residential apartment building located in the Tenderloin neighborhood in San Francisco. The building must be a mix of affordable and market rate housing units, include a full neighborhood - serving grocery store on the ground level, and be designed as close to zero net energy as possible.
