Summary: Personal Trainers will be responsible for providing services to our members and guest to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, and overall well being. This includes selling personal training sessions and packages and establishing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining individual exercise recommendations for clients in a professional manner to enhance member and guest experience and ensure retention.
Responsibilities: -‐Develops a safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training program for clients to meet their fitness goals. -‐Builds your profit center by conversing with members and speaking about the various fitness programs you offer. -‐Implement marketing and sales strategies in keeping with the overall company philosophy. -‐Conduct a fitness consultation for new member within their first month of joining -‐Monitors and instruct a new client during their first personal training session on the safe and effective use of training equipment. -‐Ensures that members have a place to go if they have questions about equipment or fitness needs. -‐Provide a clean, safe and healthy environment for members, guest, and coworkers. -‐ Performs related duties as required.
Requirements: -‐Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. -‐Liability insurance -‐Personal Training Certification (minimum of one): ACSM, NASM, NATA, NSCA, -‐Post Rehabilitation Training highly desirable -‐CPR/AED Certification required within 90 days of hire -‐Competitive drive to succeed in a performance based culture -‐Personal passion and commitment for living a healthy lifestyle -‐Excellent communication skills -‐Customer service focus-‐Team oriented -‐This position requires bending and standing -‐Must be able to move fitness equipment and lift weights
