Jazz Attack 2016 Featuring Rick Braun, Euge Groove and Peter White Get ready for the return of Jazz Attack 2016! Founded by Rick Braun and Richard Elliot in 2005 when they were partners in their record label ARTizen Music Group, Jazz Attack has been winning the hearts of contemporary jazz fans nationwide year after year. The first year, they invited Peter White and Jonathan Butler to join them on stage to create a thrilling musical experience for their audience. Many electrifying line-ups since then bring us to Jazz Attack 2016 featuring Rick Braun, Euge Groove and Peter White! Jazz Atack’s horn player Rick Braun has done just about everything, from backing the likes of Rod Stewart and Sade to stepping out into the spotlight as a vocalist and a master of the trumpet and flugelhorn. His records have ranked in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Chart and his singles have held the #1 position on the R&R NAC/Smooth Jazz album charts. The recipient of numerous National Contemporary Jazz Awards, he shared a Best Collaboration award with Boney James for their hit Shake It Up. His most recent recording, Can You Feel It, brings back the spirit of Beat Street in a return to his jazz-funk roots. Braun says “It’s so much fun getting to ask my friends to go on tour with me. It’s an honor to get to play with these guys.” Chart topping multi-instrumentalist Euge Groove joins Jazz Attack on saxophone and brings his wide ranging musical taste, impeccable musicianship and keen showmanship. Looking forward to the summer, he says, “After guesting on each other's albums over the years, we finally get to interact on stage with each other. Add to the fact that we are all friends and neighbors off the stage adds to the chemistry on stage.” A quadruple threat, the saxophonist, composer, producer and DJ has built an impressive career as a free spirit who remains true to his own artistic vision. His first single from his self-titled Warner Bros. debut, “Vinyl” set a record by spending 27 weeks on the R&R charts. Since then, his singles and CD’s have continued to be at the top of Billboard and R&R charts. Guitarist, Peter White, brings his uniquely engaging style to the Jazz Attack band. Over the years, he has maintained a reputation as one of the most versatile and prolific acoustic guitarists on the contemporary jazz landscape. Armed with an unparalleled combination of lyricism and energy, he combines elements of jazz, pop and classical guitar to create a sound that is singular and at the same time accessible to a broad audience. His first solo recording, Reveillez-Vous, quickly rose to the #1 position in the NAC arena, and his subsequent releases all topped both radio and retail charts nationally, including the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart. He says, “Rick, Euge and I have all known each other a long time so playing together comes very naturally and allows us a great deal of spontaneity, making it more fun for us, and the audience. Hoping to see a lot of you on this tour!”
