Liepājas Jaunie VanagiAim – popularization and protection of children and youth rights and interests. And encouragement of active and creative youth development as well.

Facts:

• Created in 1993• 170 members in age 5-30• The best youth organization in Kurland region in

2007. • Members of IFM-SEI. • Members of “The national youth council of Latvia”.• The award for best visibility of the organization in

2009 in Kurland. • The award for best good practical example in

capacity projects in Latvia.

Main Activities

Planning, organizing, leading different activities – seminars, actions, treks, events, camps, educational activities, excursions far and near, for the child, youth and they families.

Take a part in international actions in Latvia and Europe – learn in seminars, take part in festivities and camps, and in international exchanging projects. Give the chance for each young person realize they ideas.

Motivation school

• The first project was realised with 80% of European Union financial support from European Social fund and 20% of the Latvian budget’s financial support from Society Integration fund.

The aim of the project-to work out and to establish inovative methods for work with youth with low level of the basic skills in four Latvian areas and to increase a remarkable count of youth knowledge of oppurtunities, that stimulate the personal development, the aquisition of the basic skills, efective joining in the labour market taking the principle of the equal rights of gender as the basic.

• While the project:• We will work out a guide „Motivtion

school” with inovative methods working with youth with low level of the basic skills and increase in 100 copys:

• Trained 20 leaders for work with the guide „Motivation school” in 3 drilling workshops;
