Dear madam,

I feel the need to write to you regarding my situation I am a 36 year old kind decent loving father,

I have had to suffer now for some 18mths with barely seeing my child because the mother was being

obstructive, made false allegations ( which s/s & police dropped immediately ),

I gained contact for a year on a Saturday morning once a month until November 2008 when she ceasedcontact for no reason, and a solicitors agreement was for her to reinstate contact.

In that same month she was ordered to attend mediation but did not attend the scheduled meeting and

refused to meet.

Basically my child has been removed by the mother from a loving parent for no reason this is childabuse and has a devastating affect upon child and father,

I do suffer depression and have done so for a year now due to not seeing my child which I care for very

much,

Its like a living bereavement that should not have to happen, I miss my child so much.

I would like to ask you sir,

Why does this happen and how can mothers rightfully do this and get away with it,

Its so hurtful and damaging for children, fathers and bad for society.

There are several issues around at the present time I would like you to make them law

Or at least seriously consider them,

This would make my current situation easier than it has been, or at least for anyone experiencing this in

the future.

1 Parental alienation -

Is any behaviour by a parent, a child's mother or father, whether conscious or unconscious, that could

create alienation in the relationship between a child and the other parent. Parental alienation can be

mild and temporary or extreme and ongoing. Most researchers believe that any alienation of a childagainst (the child's) other parent is harmful to the child and to the target parent.

Extreme, obsessive, and ongoing parental alienation can cause terrible psychological damage to

children extending well into adulthood.

This is child abuse and is not good for loving dads that have there children removed for no reason.

2 Mediation -

Mediation should be mandatory and for maybe a small fee ordered by a court,

Not how it is at present optional prior to attendance in court.

Please consider these, I would love to hear back with your thoughts,

I am currently getting set up to start the whole contact order process but I understand this could take a

year to 2 years ( all lost time )

I am hoping things work out ok ?,

I am resigned to the fact if I end back up in the situation I am in now ( not seeing my son for noreason ) Then at least I have tried everything.
