JASMA visits Related Associations in China
to Welcome Chinese Exhibitors and Visitors to JIAM 2012
Mr. Enomoto, the executive director of the Japan Sewing Machinery Manufacturers
Association, and JIAM DESK visited the China Sewing Machinery Association, China
Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles and the China National Garment
Association from March 5 to March 7 to welcome exhibitors and visitors from China to JIAM
2012, which is being held in September this year.
Although China is faced with economic challenges, Mr. Nan, the administrative director of
the China Sewing Machinery Association, is behind the call for the promotion of exhibitors.
Both vice presidents of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles and
the China National Garment Association promised to attend JIAM2012. Labor costs have
become expensive in China, and it is through automation that labor costs can be reduced.
This has lead to an increased interest in JIAM 2012 with showcasing of the latest machinery.
