Technologies for High-rise Building

Japan Home & Building Show is the largest exhibitions of the

housing and building industry in Japan with a 30-year history. It

attracts many companies not only from Japan but also from

outside the country, helping them to exchange information with

subject matter experts on housing and building in Japan, as well

as start new business with them.

This year, under the Home, Building and Interior Week, we will

be calling for interior products which are components of buildings

as a new area in addition to the latest housing and building

related products and services. This enables the visitors to

access to information on a breath of products at one stop; from

the structure of homes and buildings to interiors. This is

expected to attract more visitors than the last year. It will help

the exhibitors to enjoy meeting with new segments of visitors as

well as business partnership and collaboration with other

exhibitors. Please do not miss this opportunity to showcase

yourselves at Japan Home & Building Show as a path to the

Japanese market and develop new business partners.

This year, “JAPANTEX”, an interior tradeshow focusing on

fabrics will be jointly held with the Japan Home & Building Show.

JAPANTEX is an exhibition on interior products (including

curtains, carpets, flooring materials, wall materials and interiors).

It has 30 years of history, enjoying a large number of visitors, not

only from the building industry but also the interior product

industry.

This collaboration with JAPANTEX will increase a number of

interior business people visiting our exhibition.

1. There is increasing demand for energy-saving

facilities after the disaster!!

The disaster of the earthquake on March 11th, 2011 resulted in

suspension of operations in the nuclear power plants. This has

encouraged the country to shift to renewable energy. Demand

for photovoltaic generation facilities is increasing tremendously,

especially in households. This trend is expected to continue for

the next few years.

authorities started demonstrations and the relevant government

agencies have established committees for active discussion of

the topic. This suggests that energy conservation facilities,

energy management systems and EV as rechargeable battery

will be the focus moving forward.

3. Record appreciation of the yen

The Japanese yen is kept at high price against USD and Euro

(as of January 2012). This has lowered barriers for Japanese

companies to access to overseas products. This is also an

opportunity for overseas companies to expand their sales in

Japan. ※Please note that all contens in this brochure are subject to change without prior notification.

an additional fee of JPY 105,000. ● Limited to 5 companies of Japan Home & Building Show 2012 on a first-come, first-served basis. ● From this year, those who have only applied for one booth are not eligible for Location Choice.

Corner Booth Choice Fee: JPY 52,500 ● Exhibitors booking one booth can request to have their booth placed on the corner of the aisles with an additional fee of JPY 52,500. Booth locations will be determined by the Organizer. ● Limited to 10 companies of Japan Home & Building Show 2012 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Booth locations at the Japan Home & Building Show will be assigned by lottery during the Exhibitor's explanatory meeting on September 2012. The lottery will be held with the secretariat serving as the representative of all exhibitors. If an exhibitor does not wish to be assigned a random booth location, the exhibitor will have the option of applying for either a specific location or one of the corner locations; the assignment of the latter will be guaranteed. Note: Exhibitors applying for four booths or more will be able to select, at no cost, any booth location within the exhibition zone as determined in item 2 of the application form. An exhibitor applied for a larger number of booths has a priority over selecting its preferred location of the booths over those who applied for less number of booths. In case more than one exhibitor had applied for the same number of booths, one who applied first will be given a higher priority.

The Organizer will ask the exhibitor about their request of booth location, providing them with several options.

MUST for interior related companies!!Joint exhibition with the Interior Trend Show JAPANTEX

1. There is increasing demand for energy-saving

facilities after the disaster!!

The disaster of the earthquake on March 11th, 2011 resulted in

suspension of operations in the nuclear power plants. This has

encouraged the country to shift to renewable energy. Demand

for photovoltaic generation facilities is increasing tremendously,

especially in households. This trend is expected to continue for

the next few years.

2. Kick off for practical use of Smart Houses

With a vision for practical use of smart houses; the extreme form

of energy-saving houses by 2015, companies and local

authorities started demonstrations and the relevant government

agencies have established committees for active discussion of

the topic. This suggests that energy conservation facilities,

energy management systems and EV as rechargeable battery

will be the focus moving forward.

3. Record appreciation of the yen

The Japanese yen is kept at high price against USD and Euro

(as of January 2012). This has lowered barriers for Japanese

companies to access to overseas products. This is also an

opportunity for overseas companies to expand their sales in

Japan. ※Please note that all contens in this brochure are subject to change without prior notification.
