Spend three weeks exploring one of the most dynamic modern cities in the world. As the capital of Japan and the largest metropolitan area in the world, Tokyo is on the cutting edge of everything from architecture, technology, and fashion to food and pop culture. Along with the futuristic, you will also find pockets of deeply traditional culture and amazing natural beauty. The A-State Global Classroom program gives you the opportunity to affordably explore a unique, refreshing, and incredibly exciting part of the world. Spend three weeks living in Tokyo while taking one or two courses in History, Business, Strategic Communication, Media Management, or Service Learning. Courses are taught by A-State faculty members housed at our partner schools, Rikkyo and Meiji Universities, and complemented with immersive co-curricular activities designed to increase intercultural understanding.

This class is designed to introduce the basic elements of critical thinking in a professional setting. This will be done through an exploration of critical thinking in a range of professional settings through reading, writing, and communication using technology, professionally-prepared materials, and statistical charts.
