Greetings from the Intergroup/Steering Committee:
Wow!! Has two years flown by already? We had elections at our Novem-
ber meeting and John (J.T.) T. was elected Intergroup Chairperson for the
next rotation and Fran S. was chosen as our new Secretary. They will carry
on Intergroup work with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Thank you, Susan W.
for all your hard work taking minutes of our Steering Committee and Inter-
group meetings, transcribing them and getting them ready for use at the
subsequent meetings. Thanks to Sue B., Vice Chairperson, Katie G.,
Treasurer, other members of the Steering Committee, and the Intergroup
Reps for putting up with me for the past two years. Thanks to Teresa and
Kriss for their super job running the Central Office with skill and compas-
sion for the still suffering alcoholic. Finally, thank you to all you A.A. mem-
bers of the seven districts in Western Colorado who have continued to sup-
port the Central Office and Intergroup with your service and 7th Tradition
contributions. I truly appreciated the opportunity to serve and have come
to love the many new friends I made in Grand Junction and throughout
Western Colorado.
Yours in Service,
Bob N
Chair, Western Colorado Intergroup

A Declaration of Unity
This we owe to A.A.’s future:
To place our common welfare first;
To keep our fellowship united.
For on A.A. unity depend our lives,
And the lives of those to come.
Keep coming Back

Step One : We admitted we were powerless over
alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.
Step Two : Came to believe that a Power greater than
ourselves could restore us to sanity.
Tradition One: Our common welfare should come first,
personal recovery depends upon A.A. unity.
Tradition Two: For our group purpose there is but one
ultimate authority– a loving God as He may express Him
self in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted
servants, they do not govern.
