Our purpose is to magnify the Lord our God by bringing people to Jesus and into membership within His family, nurturing them to a Christ-like maturity, and equipping them for their ministry in the church and for their mission in the world.

2015 Missions’ Year in Review

Pine Forest, you have been faithful. Here is what YOU have accomplished this past year:

Hosted Habitat for Humanity college teams throughout the year.

Provided work teams for area Habitat for Humanity builds.

Distributed New Testaments at the community outreach Reimagine Wedgewood

Shared Hearts of Love comfort bags with area Emerald Coast Hospice patients.

Provided school supplies and clothing for our partner, Beulah Elementary.

Hosted two disaster relief teams affiliated with United Methodist Volunteers in Mission.

Cooked and served meals for the less fortunate at Richard Memorial the last Sunday of each month.

Prepared and distributed meals to over 120 homeless people on a weekly basis through the Tailgate Ministry.

Filled and delivered Thanksgiving and basic pantry groceries to over 45 families in our community.

Delighted ninety-four angels from our partners Beulah, Top of the Bottom, and the Methodist Girls’ Home with Christmas gifts.

Committed monthly financial support to: Top of the Bottom Ministry, Every Nation Ministries, Teen Challenge, and Pensacola United Methodist Ministries.

Supported Nothing But Nets, a Methodist church global malaria prevention program, with a thousand dollar donation.

Donated a love offering to Pastor Benjamin of the Savior Jesus Christ Mission in India.

Created and shared basic need bags for area homeless through our VBS outreach project.

Generously supported White Christmas offering for Methodist Children’s Homes.

WHEW!!! What an outstanding report. May God be glorified as we continue to serve Him and other in the year ahead.

The Pastors Corner

Let me begin by saying thank you to all of our Pine Forest family for the generous Christmas gift and for all the cards, uplifting notes and goodies, that you have blessed us with. Your love for us is a blessing that we cannot put into words. We are thankful every day that we have the honor of serv-ing Pine Forest UMC. You are amazing people, and the love of God is evi-dent both in our gatherings and in our ministries. This has been a good year and we look forward to even better things next year. For that matter I am truly excited about our plans for 2016. First of all, as of January 1

st we will have the option of giving our tithes and offerings

online as well as in person. You will be able to access this new system through our website at www.pineforstumc.org. Also while I am talking about the website, you may know that we live stream our worship services each week, but we also archive them so that you can watch them later. If you are away from home or miss a Sunday, you can still plug in and be a part of the worship experience. Also starting in January we will be embarking on a new journey to discern and implement God’s vision for the future of Pine Forest UMC. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do in 2016 with and through our congre-gation. I would like to invite everyone to pray daily that our church would be the movement of God that will transform our communities for His Kingdom. God bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Andy

Called Council Meeting with Communion January 3rd 6PM in the Sanctuary. Pastor Andy has requested all Council Members to be present at this special meeting to welcome the new church leadership for 2016.
