She recently celebrated her 2nd anniversary since joining the Agape team and says it’s her favorite work-setting yet. She loves working in such a beautiful clinic and feels blessed to be part of such an effective team.

Not only does she perform routine Massage Therapy she also specializes in Ashiatsu Massage. This involves the use of Erin’s lower extremities to facilitate your healing. She is eager to help and is very caring. It is absolutely worth a conversation and meeting with her.

What is Reflexology? Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the feet, hand and ears. Reflexology is generally relaxing and may be an effective way to alleviate stress. The theory behind reflexology is that these areas correspond to organs and systems of the body. Proponents believe that pressure applied to these areas affects the organs and benefits the person’s health. Reflexologists use foot charts to guide them as they apply pressure to specific areas. Sometimes these practitioners use items, such as rubber balls, rubber bands and sticks of wood, to assist in their work. Practitioners of reflexology include chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists, among others.

Dr. Jen Jensen, Doctor of Chiropractic, earned her degree from Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa in 2001. She opened her own practice Worldwide Wellness Center in 2005 and has been apart of the Agape Cooperative for 4 years. Her office is located right inside Agape’s main clinic in Cedar Falls. Dr. Jen says her favorite thing about being apart of the Co-op is all the specialty services Agape has to offer for patients to get well, she loves being apart of a team that has so much energy and that is very goal oriented. Although Dr. Jen treats anyone she specializes in women, children and athletes. She loves working with children because chiropractic care is very effective with kids and they get well very quickly. Dr. Jen says that a child’s nervous system can respond very quickly to chiropractic care, it can help with ear infections, sleeping problems, colic and even bed wetting. Dr. Jen also specializes in Gonstead, a full spine chiropractic care technique. When Dr. Jen is not in the office she likes to spend time with her 8, 13, 16 year old daughters and her husband who she’s been married to for 19 years. Dr. Jen also enjoys traveling, boating and going to chiropractic conferences to further her knowledge in the field.

Spotlight on Rain Drop Massage Therapy The raindrop massage therapy technique combines unique, targeted massage and energy approaches with pure, authentic essential oils for a deeply harmonizing, rejuvenating, and relaxing experience. Raindrop therapy provides a revolutionary means of nurturing harmony—physically, mentally, and emotionally. What are the benefits of Raindrop Technique?

n Balance & Re-align the Energy Centers of the Body – The combination of techniques brings electrical and structural alignment to the body.

n Non-Manipulative Technique – No manipulation as in chiropractic care is performed. The oils help support the body to come back into harmony by opening energy flow throughout the body.

n Reduce Stress & Minor Anxiety—Not only can the oils enhance positive emotions such as joy and happiness, but they can also help us release negative emotions that are subconsciously stored on a cellular level.

n Eases Muscle Discomfort after Exercise—Muscles that are tense and in minor discomfort due to exercise will benefit from this technique.

n One Precaution—Some oils can be “hot” oils and caution is taken with application. Call Agape: 277.3166 and ask for Britta
