The PGG, established in 1986 to promote quality art glass in the community, is a membership organization of glass artists working in Virginia. The exhibition offers a wide range of creative processes, including blown, carved, cast, painted, flame worked, fused, leaded, neon, sandblasted and stained glass. Related events will include the juror’s lecture, a mobile hot shop with glass working demonstrations and a silent auction. An internationally known figure from the world of glass art will select and present over $3,750 in both cash awards and scholarships.

“Fluid Variations: Recent Works by Clay McGlamory” Thursday December 13th 2014 – Sunday January 25th 2015 Fluid Variations is a solo exhibition of new works by Clay McGlamory in a variety of glass techniques, including vitreous enamel screen printing, fusing, mixed media, luminous tubing and installation. The imagery for these works comes from two sources: water in various states and forms, and words, primarily graffiti scratched into trees, translated from photographs taken during walks in the woods. Both create alluring patterns that when layered have a beautiful complexity which is further compounded by the layering of colors and panels of glass during the fusing and printing processes. Subtle transparent inks and layers of glass combine with dominant opaque color designs creating optically energized works that resonate with

the viewer's optic nerves.

On May 8, 1989 David Riblet died… willingly, and his world forever changed. This tragedy became his greatest blessing. That night, in a life between lives state, he learned the power of prayer in a most extraordinary way. He became a "fused walk-in" with a heightened individual awareness, and of the Soul Family he is a part of. His original intentions for this life, were shown to him, and he was reminded that we are never alone. He experienced an indescribable level of peace. David will share the details of his amazing experience on the other side, the gifts he was given, along with techniques to apply them for more conscious way of living… with no Near Death Experience required! His intention is that your personal Journey through life will be enhanced by this presentation.

You can help the Arts in Virginia—Here’s how!!

Virginians now have the opportunity to contribute part of

their state income tax refund to the Virginia Arts Foundation by checking a box on their return form. It’s never been so simple to support the arts in Virginia.

Because the foundation may receive but not solicit private funds, money will have to come from the purchase of arts license plate and other special sources, such as this tax check off box.

The interest on all funds received will be distributed in grants by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Please help support the arts in Virginia. Check off a contribution for the Virginia Arts Foundation on your state income return. It’s one of the most important checks you can write – and now, it’s one of the easiest.

another email for each additional photo, along with its caption. That way your Editor won’t get photos mixed up with the wrong caption. Please limit file size to about 1megabyte per photo. Please write a full sentence, identifying the principal people or art pieces in the photo, with an explanation
