All I know is that all things are for our good. Some of my most valued lessons came from my greatest challenges. That if I will learn from my experiences: the good and the bad, they will enrich my life. Through 2011, our family has learned to rely on each other even more - that we will always have each other. “The farther backwards you can look,The farther forward you are likely to see.”

~Winston Churchill

I’m not much of a resolution maker. I think it’sBecause I try to evaluate how things are goingAnd make little changes through-out the year

Instead of just in January.

Every year brings with it new joys, friends, lessonsTo be learned and NEW experiences. As 2012

Begins, I wanted to take the time to look back onThe year that has just past.

2011 Was a year full of change for my family.

Really, the last few have been full of change - Some changes are immediately recognizable asgood and some changes I have yet to understand

the reason for them.

All I know is that all things are for our good. Someof my most valued lessons came from my greatest

challenges. That if I will learn from my experiences:the good and the bad, they will enrich my life.

Through 2011, our family has learned to rely oneach other even more - that we will always have

each other. I am looking forward to what2012 has in store.

EYEDecorate

This is a whole year project but made simple and easy. Basically you’re going to make a calendar that is 6” wide by 12” high and use it throughout the year… then at the end of the year take each monthly page And add to a 12 x 12 layout using the remaining pieces left over from the calendar because each of the Papers My Minds Eye produces is double sided, making coordinating pages is so simple. By the end of

The year you should have an albums worth of layouts for the whole year without any stress about Remembering dates or such like.

I designed a calendar for everyone to use. It should give enough space to add in events and words of Wisdom for each month. So you already have your journaling done. Each month, you just pick your

Favorite photograph of the month and add it in right after you take it.

I would keep an envelope for each month as well so that you can add more photographs to it if you wish To make a double page or multi photo layout at the end.

2012 Calendar pg.2Featured Collection: Kraft Funday

Instructions:

Downloadable calendar images:http://mymindseye.typepad.com/files/mme_2012_calendarproject.pdf

• Cut one 12” x 12“ into the following sizes: 6” x 12”, 2 1/2“ x 12” and 3 1/2“ x 12”• Decide which side of the 6” one you wish as your main backing, then Adhere the 2 1/2” strip on top using the reverse side. • Keep the 3 1/2” strip in a bag to make your end-of-year layout for Your 2012 album.• Add a 6” x 4” blank spot to the top part of the 6" x 12” sheet – I matted Mine in black to help it stand out. You will adhere a 6“ x 4” photograph to The blank spot so you won’t see it if you use a 6“ x 4” photo. • Add your calendar month to the bottom area of the 6“ x 12” strip. • Decorate it as you want.• I adhered the trim only on each end so I can add a photo in behind it.• Keep all left over trim and embellishments in the same bag as your 3 1/2” strip.• If you want, punch a hole in the top to hang the calendar – which you can Either ignore, hide with embellishments or trim off afterwards. I plan on Using each month separately using a bulldog clip at the top. • Repeat for each month and put the left over bag somewhere safe.

2012 Calendar Project – Part 2

• At the end of each month or at the end of the year, find your bag of Remaining supplies. • Take your finished calendar month, Add the 3 1/2” strip to one side of the 6“ x 12” strip. • Trim the edge as you wish – some of mine are Scalloped, some not. • Adhere the whole thing to a coordinating sheet of 12“ x 12” paper.• Add the matching parts of the embellishments to the Remaining space on the 12” x 12” layout.• I left enough room so that I could add more journaling strips but not everyone will want to do that So work the space to suit your style.• Add extra embellishments and titles as you desire.• Add to your 2012 album and know that you have been Scrapbooking chronologically up-to-date.

I hope you enjoy this stress-free way to complete a Yearly album for your family – you could do one for Each child if you wanted. Scrapbooking should be easy And quick to complete so you can live your life making The memories!
