How ya doin?" Brint was born on January 17, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklaho- ma to Faye Elizabeth (Hut- ton) and Milburn Alderbert Collins. As a military brat, he and his siblings Lyn and Terry traveled a lot as chil- dren. After graduating from Sam Houston High School and the University of Texas at Austin, he began a long career in construction sales in the San Antonio area where he worked for over 40 years, he then retired and settled in the San An- gelo area to live the simple, country life. He was known for being outgoing and having never met a stranger. Brint did get especially friendly with a woman named Kathy Rodgers whom he married in 2006. He is survived by Kathy and his children, Samantha (Shelby) Fojtik, Alex (Jonathan) Stephen- son, and Tavia Claypool, and stepdaughters, Court- ney (Johnny) Torres and Cindy (Lee) Clark. He was adored by his grandchil- dren, Sydnee and Savanna Fojtik, Jackson, Attticus and Olivia Stephenson, Emilee and Jayce Torres, Eric and Abigail Gardner, and Hayley King, along with great-grandchild Nova Gardner. He will be espe- cially missed by his long- time friend and loyal canine companion, Dolly. Brint enjoyed hunting, foot- ball, softball, and camping, and was known for his mu- sical abilities – having mas- tered both the drums and air guitar. He loved dancing and, naturally, his favorite song was "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. While he enjoyed many activities in life, Brint's favorite thing to do was to be with people. He loved visiting with family, friends, and strang- ers who'd soon be friends. We will miss our beloved Brint, but he will never be forgotten and his legacy and stories will continue through all that knew him and loved him. A memorial for Brint Col- lins will be hosted from 8am to 8pm on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Eden Funeral Home – 231 North Main Street, Eden, Texas 76837.
