If you’re a GUEST at Emmanuel, we want to welcome you to

our church. If you would like to know more about Emmanuel or if you

have questions about the Christian faith, fill out a white pew card and

place it in the offering plate. There is a green guest bag at the guest table

in the narthex that you can pick up when you leave. If you continue to attend Emmanuel,

we will invite you to attend one of our quarterly guest lunches where you can meet our

staff and learn more about our ministry. If you have questions, please contact our Guest

Coordinator, Barb Kirsch (304 482 2942 / [email protected]) or Pastor Kurt

Busiek (304 485 5171 / [email protected]).

Greeting One Another During the Flu Season If you have been sick with the flu, if you are recovering, or if you are

concerned about getting sick, we would encourage you to refrain from

shaking hands during our time of greeting. Fist bumps or forearm

touches are good alternatives to the traditional Baptist handshake!

Mission Lunch – Today This summer, Elissa and Rachel Filozof will be serving in

Appalachia and at the US/ Mexico border, respectively. In order to

raise funds for their week-long trips, they are hosting a mission

lunch following the 10:45 service today. The menu will include

chicken or beef tacos, rice and beans, and two types of dessert. The lunch is free of charge,

but donations toward these trips are welcomed. Thank you for your continued support and

prayers! We hope to see you there!

Donations for Old Man Rivers If you would like to help the Old Man River’s ministry, the following non-

perishable food items are needed in their food pantry: canned vegetables,

canned fruit, soup, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, crackers, noodles,

etc. They appreciate the donations from the community that help them serve

others.

Valentine Request We are once again this year collecting items for a Valentine’s Day Party for

the Weirton Christian Center. Items needed include: Valentine cards, “Little

Debbie” snack cakes, cups, napkins, cake mixes and icing and candy. We

need the items in the church office no later than Thursday, February 8.

Thanks for supporting the center, they always appreciate our help.

“One Day (When We All Get to Heaven)” By Beth Redman | Eliza Edmunds Stites Hewitt | Leonard Jarman | Matt Redman

Verse 1: One day You'll make everything new, Jesus,

One day You will bind every wound,

The former things shall all pass away,

No more tears.

Verse 2: One day You'll make sense of it all, Jesus,

One day every question resolved,

Every anxious thought left behind,

No more fear.

Chorus: When we all get to heaven,

What a day of rejoicing that will be.

When we all see Jesus,

We'll sing and shout the victory.

Verse 3: One day we will see face to face, Jesus,

Is there a greater vision of grace,

And in a moment we shall be changed,

On that day.

Verse 4: And one day we'll be free, free indeed, Jesus,

One day all this struggle will cease,

And we will see Your glory revealed,

On that day.

(Repeat Chorus 2x)

Verse 5: Yes, one day we will see face to face, Jesus,

Is there a greater vision of grace,

And in a moment we shall be changed,

Yes in a moment we shall be changed,

In a moment we shall be changed,

On that day

(Repeat Chorus)

Ending: We'll sing and shout the victory.
