Dear Families

Dboosh ahs had unprecedented demand on our Before School Care service this year.

Parents are now required to book their children in prior to attending. If you want to be sure

your child gets a place in the morning, permanent bookings are available with a change of

booking form. Casual bookings will still be available but must be booked prior to your

arrival by email or phone.

February has been an action-packed month at Dboosh with our

new kindies starting. We have been going to the park, making

Troke cards, creating plays, formed a new student committee,

and adopted a pet Fish called Bubbles.

Signing your child in and outPlease remember to sign your child in and out of each session at Dboosh as is a legal requirement. We asked the kindy children what they liked doing at Dboosh:

Some of the girls at Dboosh have been working on writing, directing, and practicing a play based off characters from Ever After High. For months, they’ve been writing lyrics to musical numbers and scripts. They’ve been designing dragons, costumes, and other props for their play.

TrokeSince last year, a few of our

kids at Dboosh have been

working on an elaborate idea

– a company named Troke.

Scott, Gabriel, and Oscar

designed the back of the

cards. This term, we are

preparing the Troke cards to

be sold by laminating them.

The proceeds will be going to

help a remote Indigenous

community. The cards will be

sold separately and in packs,

some with comics, and the

prices will be set by the Troke

designers.

What’s the Buzz?

I started at Dboosh this year. What I like about Dboosh is hanging in the Seniors room. We get have some quiet time after school. My favourite thing to do at Seniors Club is to play drums and Seniors party every Thursday afternoon. We get to have music, balloons and a treat. Also we get to invite a friend. What I don’t like about Dboosh is there is no tacos. I like spaghetti tacos. It’s just spaghetti in a taco shell.
