Mega Bazaar Hijra’ 2016On 13-14 February 2016, MYNIC has joined a booth in a program organized by Eh Eh Bazaar - Mega Bazaar Hijra’ 2016. The program which lasted for 2 days at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre is a special bazaar platform for online entrepreneurs who were there to showcase their products & services. There were about 158

online entrepreneurs involved in this bazaar who sell a variety of products such as clothing, food, and gadgets.

ABU DigitalSymposiumMYNIC had participated in the promotional booth together with other agencies under the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia in conjunction with ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium 2016. The event was held at Hotel Istana, Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur on 1 – 3 March 2016.

The objectives is to introduce about MYNIC and explain to public, especially creative and media content players about our services and scope and also to get numbers for package registration offered. It is estimated that around 1000 participations all over the world attended the symposium.

Also presence at the event is YB Dato’ Jailani Johari, Timbalan Menteri Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia, who also pay a visit to the booth.

Official OpeningCeremony ofKompleks Muizzuddin Nazrin ShahThe opening ceremony of Kompleks Bersepadu Kementerian Komunikasi & Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM) in Ipoh has been officiated by DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah on 9 January 2016. The complex that has known as Kompleks Muizzuddin Nazrin Shah was named after Sultan Nazrin Shah. It is located in Jalan Raja Musa Mahadi. The Sultan also is accompanied by Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim and 500 invited guests comprising the Minister of KKMM, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Salleh Said Keruak, Secretary General of KKMM, YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Sharifah Zarah Syed Mohammad, Head of Department, CEO of agencies and representative from government agencies and also from Perak royalty.

The event is something to be proud of because it is the first building in Perak who use the name of the Sultan.

In conjunction with the ceremony, KKMM held a 2-days mini exhibition and carnival at the ground of the complex from 9 – 10 January 2016. All departments and agencies under KKMM including MYNIC took part in the event. His Majesty and the Queen has visited every booth and get short briefing from representatives of each departments and agencies about their background, products and services.

In addition to the exhibitions there were also have other interesting activities such as stage performances, fun stall, and digital games that have attracted local people around Ipoh to attend the event.

MalaysiaInklusifNegara Digital (MINDA)

MYNIC participated in Malaysia Inklusif Negara Digital (MINDA) which was held in Kuching, Sarawak. This program is initiated by Ministry of Communication and Multimedia (KKMM) as one of the initiative to close the gap in delivering information between government and citizens. Besides, the goal is to build an informative society.

The event officially launched by Malaysia Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak on 12 March 2016. Around 30,000 people visited this 3-days program starting from 11 March to 13 March 2016.

MYNIC Townhall Series 3/2016The third townhall for this year has been conducted on Thursday 26 May 2016, at MYNIC office. Our CEO, En. Hasnul Fadhly Hasan briefed all staff on the Quater 1 business performance. The main highlight during the townhall session is on ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) recertification awarded by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd. ISO/IEC ISMS 27001 is the only auditable

international standard for Information Security Management.

This ISMS certification shows MYNIC commitment in achieving standard compliance, high integrity and security in our business processes and information system.

The townhall session ended with introduction of new staff members as well as birthday celebration.
