INTRODUCTION

• We are targeting the health sector in the 12th five year plan.• One of the major aim of the 12th plan for health sector is to improve affordability

of healthcare by reducing Out of pocket expenditure.• In order to provide cheap and effective medicines to the common mass, The

Government of India has come up with the `Jan Aushadhi’ project, under which generic medicines are provided at very low price at the `jan-aadhar’ stores.• So, to create awareness about generic medicines, we have come up with a simple

idea of a website which gives information about generic medicines as a replacement for branded medicines.• The app highlights the significant price difference between the two variations of

the same salt, promoting generic medicines.
