    Duran, Jennifer Aieta (lead water engineer), JonAshton, Emma Hardy and Tara Schoedinger. Alltown water is under a Boil Advisory.

    Crews are working hard to get the rest ofJamestown online by early August.

    Road Work- Work continues on the roads inJamestown as Duran lays water lines andrestores fill and grade. The Town will send outroad closures and delays regularly as we knowthe schedule or it changes. You can find thelatest road information here. Weappreciate everyone's patience and cooperationduring this critical time.

    Howlett's Gulch -Colt & Steelis nearingcompletion on the work on Howlett's Gulch.

    Private Property Debris Removal (PPDR) -The contract has been awarded to ResurgenceDemolition for the demolition and removal of

    approved properties in Jamestown under thePPDR program. Due to the construction ofthe water lines and road repairs on Lower MainSt, the demolition projects will begin once Duranis complete with their work.

    HMGP Buyout Program - Buyout values havebeen determined and communicated to propertyowners. The Town's application is duein August.

    The Jamestown Long-Term Recovery Plan - TheTown has awarded a contract to Marjo X to helpguide the community through its own Long-Term

    Recovery Planning process. Marjo will be at thenext community meeting in order to kick-off theplanning process.

    Andersen Bridge- Designs areunderway. Construction is expected to begin inAugust.

    Flood Anniversary Planning -Efforts have begunto plan the commemorative events of the FloodAnniversary in Jamestown. If you would like tobe on the planning committee, please notify co-chairs Rainbow Schultz or Erika Archer.

    Rebuilding Efforts- MDS volunteers continue to

    work on various projects as they prepare to buildseven houses with voluntary labor. (See belowfor more.)

    Welcome Nancy and Bruce Smith, our new MDS project directors!

    This past week, Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) hosted a

    small group of youth with chaperons from Mt. Lake, MN. They alldid a great job dry walling, painting and moving a lot of rocks andearth. Bruce Smith, current project director, lined up additionaljobs both in Jamestown and for our nearby neighbors.     offspring or the dilemma of a wildturkey who wants to become the

    family pet.

    MDS teens raising the first wall on Tim and Wendy Stokes' home. This team of 29 from Newton, KS came in addition to theother team that is here.

    We continue to work with Flatirons for Humanity to fund therebuilding of some of the homes that were lost. Although thetimeline is not what we expected, we are moving forward. Pleasenote that if you are able to fund materials your repair project,MDS may be able to work on your project. Please contact Nina ifyou have questions.

    Awesome stuff going on in JT! Jamestown Residents receivedhelp last week from Champion Forest Baptist Churchout of

    Houston, Texas. The team is part of a larger network of youthgroups in Texas and came to us through the amazing support ofJoe Fuller, volunteer extraordinaire from the Southern Baptists.The group consisted of 12 hard-working teens and adults whohelped with landscaping, debris removal and clean-up. We arethankful for their help and will be seeing more Baptist groups

    throughout the summer. If you are looking for assistance, pleasecontact Nina.

    Greg Windell (pictured on the left) comes from a well-known stream

    engineering family andhas spent much of his life creating kayak courses, fishing pools, and workingon wetland revegetation projects. He is largely responsible for the beautiful

    work done in our stream.

    On Saturday, Greg Windell from Colt & Steel met with fiveJamestown residents to train them in the art of wetlandharvesting and revegetation:
