Watch for the Blind Personal Design Concept

The watch is read by feeling the position of the leading edge of each hand. The dots around the face indicate the hours.

A Stretching watch strap makes it easy to put on the watch without dealing with tiny latch hardware.

Customized Keyboard DesignFreelance Design Project

Working with tech entrepreneur Matt Mitchell, I designed a keyboard with user-replaceable face plate designs.

This product is not in production, but I have received permission from the client to showcase this work.

Design Positioning Boards [email protected]

The client requested the aesthetics of the iPhone 4 to be used as a starting point, so I broke down the elements that make up the iPhone and other similar products to further define that request.

Initial Concept Designs [email protected]

Next, I created some rough concept designs based on three of those defined categories.

Final Concept [email protected]

Lastly, I refined the design and added details for the final deliverables.

The faceplate can be replaced with customized designs sold separately.

Nature-Inspired HousewaresStudent Project

I chose the shape of seashells for the theme for this project. I wanted to explore different products these swirling shapes could be applied to.

Swiveling FlashlightStudent Project

My inspiration for this project came from sea anemones. The challenge was to incorporate elements of this creature in a subtle way.

Hand Sketches/Polyurethane Foam Model [email protected]

This first round of sketches and models explored different ways of achieving the positioning function I wanted.
