This document contains some important facts about your policy. The documentrepresents only a summary of cover to help assist you in making an informedpurchase decision.

When cover is purchased, a policy document will be provided which contains all of theterms and conditions of the policy. Please take time to read the policy document tomake sure you understand the cover it provides.

Jaguar believes in long-term ownership and, when the warranty on your new or usedJaguar vehicle expires, we believe you should have the option to continue the protectionon your car. Our Extended Warranties are specifically designed for Jaguar vehiclesgiving you the reassurance of cover for both mechanical and electrical failures.

JAGUAR SELECT EXTENDED WARRANTY

Maximum vehicle age: No age limit

Maximum mileage at inception: 100,000 miles

• 12 months cover for named mechanical and electricalcomponents

• Up to £750 MOT Test Insurance cover

• Cover throughout the UK and Europe

• Car hire for up to seven days

• Cover up to 25,000 miles from policy inception

• £3,000 individual claim liability and unlimited claims upto purchase price of the vehicle

• Your choice of Jaguar retailer

OPTIONAL BENEFITS

• Jaguar Assistance – Roadside and Home Assistancewithin the UK and Europe is available at an additionalcost available at an additional cost

Jaguar Extended Warranty is available for Jaguar vehicleswhich at the time of warranty purchase are a maximum often years old and have covered less than 100,000 miles.

SUMMARY OF COVER

The Extended Warranty covers defects to most factoryfitted components of the vehicle for mechanical, electricalor consequential failure.

What your Extended Warranty Does Not Cover:

• Bodywork, body seals, cosmetic finishes, glass,paintwork, trim, upholstery or weather strips

• Batteries

• Bulbs and fuses

• Consequential failure caused by fire or flood

• Deterioration such as discolouration, alteration ordeforming of parts due to normal ageing

• Electrical software updates or reprogramming*

• Exhaust systems including Diesel Particulate Filters*(DPF)

• Gradual reduction in operating performance (wearand tear)

• Hinges and strikers

• Recharging of air conditioning unit*

• Routine component adjustment and alignment

• Service/maintenance operations and adjustments,non-factory fitted components

• Wheels, tyres and valves

• Wheel balancing/alignment and adjustment*

* Unless part of a valid claim, or required due to the failureof a covered part causing consequential damage.

CLAIM LIABILITYUnlimited up to the price paid for the vehicle in aggregate.

MILEAGE RESTRICTIONUnlimited mileage during the term of the warranty.

The information here provides a summary of the coverprovided with an Extended Warranty.

Jaguar Select Extended Warranty is available for Jaguarvehicles which at the time of warranty purchase havecovered less than 100,000 miles.

SUMMARY OF COVER

The Select Extended Warranty covers most major repairs onthe following components of the vehicle for mechanical orelectrical failure:

• Engine

• Gearbox

• Differential

• Drive line

• Suspension

• Steering

• Cooling system

• Air conditioning

• Braking system

• Turbo unit/Turbo actuator

• Fuel system

• Clutch

• Electrics

• Casings

• Oil leaks

• Consumables

WHAT YOUR SELECT EXTENDED WARRANTYDOES NOT INCLUDEAny component failure, damage or losses not directlycovered under the terms and conditions of this policy.

• Consequential failure caused by fire or flood

• Electrical software updates or reprogramming

• Faults which existed before the start of this Warranty.Pre-existing faults must be rectified before thisWarranty starts

• Gradual reduction in operating performance (wearand tear)

• Water ingress

• Wiring

Note

Items not covered on the Extended Warranty are alsoexcluded from the Select Extended Warranty.

CLAIM LIABILITY£3,000 individual claim liability and aggregate claims up tothe price paid for the vehicle.

MILEAGE RESTRICTIONThis warranty will provide cover for your vehicle for theduration of the warranty period up to a maximum of25,000 miles from the date of warranty purchase.

IMPORTANTThe list of covered components are high level headings only.For precise details of the cover provided and exclusionswithin the Select Extended Warranty product, pleasediscuss with your Jaguar retailer.

Both Extended and Select Extended Warranties have thefollowing additional benefits.

CAR HIRE

If you have a valid claim, you may claim reimbursement fora replacement vehicle, but not including fuel andinsurance. You are responsible for the first 24 hours thatyou cannot use your own vehicle. After this period, you canclaim for a replacement vehicle for up to seven days.

OVERSEAS COVER

Your vehicle is covered whilst it is outside the UnitedKingdom in Europe for up to 60 days during the periodof warranty.

If your vehicle has a breakdown in any country, which is amember of the European Union or EFTA (European FreeTrade Association), you will be entitled to authorise arepair by any Jaguar retailer.

MOT TEST INSURANCE

You are also covered for MOT repair costs up to £750(including VAT). Please note that the first £50 of any claimmust be paid by the warranty holder and the MOT test orre-test fee is not covered.

SIGNIFICANT EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS

There are certain items which these policies specifically donot cover. Full details can be obtained from your Jaguarretailer or Jaguar Approved Warranty Administration.

• If the vehicle has been modified in any way you mustdeclare this prior to application for the warranty.

• Any vehicle fitted with wheels and tyres that exceedJaguar maximum approved size and diameter mustalso be declared prior to application for the warrantyas fitment of such wheels and tyres could invalidatethe warranty.

• The vehicle must be serviced in accordance with themanufacturer’s recommended service schedule.

• Non UK registered left hand drive and Grey Importvehicles are excluded.

• Public service vehicles, such as police, fire vehicles,ambulances and military vehicles are excluded.

• Vehicles used for hire or reward, vehicles used in anysort of competition, rally or racing and any vehicleswith a Gross Vehicle Weight of more than 3.5 tonne areall excluded.

• Warranty cover may only be granted to individualsresiding or corporate bodies registered in the UK.

CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND REFUNDS

We hope you are happy with the cover this policy provides.If after reading your policy document, however, thisinsurance cover does not meet with your requirements, youhave the right to cancel the warranty (including the MOTelement of the policy) within 30 days of purchase and theoptional assistance element within 14 days of purchase.

Should you wish to cancel within this period, please returnthe policy to the Jaguar retailer from whom the policy waspurchased; the retailer will then refund any premium you areentitled to. If you purchased your policy online or via postalapplication please contact Jaguar Approved WarrantyAdministration on 0344 573 8065 for a refund of anypremium you are entitled to.

If you wish to cancel your policy after this 30-day period,you may cancel your policy at any time and receive a prorata refund of your premium based on the number of wholemonths remaining subject to the deduction of a cancellationfee of £30. Requests for cancellation outside of the first30 days from purchase should be made by contacting theadministrator on 0344 573 8065 or in writing toJaguar Approved Warranty Administration, Jubilee House,5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury,West Yorkshire BD3 7AG.

There will be no refund entitlement under the followingcircumstances:

• in the last 30 days of cover on the warranty including theMOT policy

• if you have made a claim on the warranty or theMOT policy

• where the warranty including MOT policy has beentransferred from the original purchaser

• where Jaguar Assistance has been taken as a cost option,no refund or part refund will be provided after the first14 days, or where assistance has been sought within thefirst 14 days

Please allow up to 28 days for your cancellation and refundto be processed.

POLICY PREMIUM PAYMENTS

Cover is available as an annual policy with a single upfrontpayment or via monthly instalments.

Where you have selected to purchase your product viamonthly instalments, you have entered into an agreement topurchase an annual policy, spreading the cost over interestfree instalments. You are required to continue to pay yourinstalments until all monies owed have been paid.

The cover level provided when opting to pay by monthlyinstalments is identical to that of an annual policy. You mustpay the premium every month on or before the date when itis due. Payment is required for the full premium of yourpolicy subject to the cancellation terms. Should you fail topay a monthly premium when it is due, all cover will ceaseimmediately from that date. Where you have made a claimagainst the policy, you will be asked to continue to makeyour monthly instalment payments.

We will not automatically renew this cover after it expires,however, we will try to write to you at the last address youprovided to give details on how to continue your cover. Ifyou do not receive this renewal notification but would like tocontinue your cover, please contact us on 0344 573 8065.

Continuation of cover may be subject to certain vehicleeligibility criteria.

MAKING A CLAIM

In the event of a claim arising, you must follow thisprocedure:

Take your vehicle to a Jaguar retailer with the followinginformation:

• The full warranty type and number (found on theRegistration Confirmation Letter).

• The date and mileage that the component failed (notapplicable to MOT claims).

FINANCIAL SERVICES COMPENSATION SCHEME

The Insurer is covered by the Financial ServicesCompensation Scheme (FSCS).

You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme ifthe Insurer is unable to meet its obligations. This dependson the type of business and the circumstances of theclaim. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90%of the claim amount, without any upper limit.

INSURER

Jaguar Extended and Select Extended Warranty and MOTInsurance are underwritten by Motors Insurance CompanyLimited (“the Insurer”) will provide the insurance outlinedin the policy document, on the condition that you havepaid the premium for the cover that you have chosen. Allthe terms, exceptions and conditions shown in the policydocument will apply to this Insurance.

This product meets the demands and needs of a Jaguarowner who wishes to cover themselves against certaincosts of mechanical failure of their vehicle.

Jaguar Assistance is available as a cost option at the pointof warranty purchase only.

Jaguar Assistance provides comprehensive RoadsideAssistance in the event of a vehicle breakdown within theUK and certain other European countries.

3. WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MYJAGUAR ASSISTANCE POLICY?

Significant Exclusions or Limitations

Jaguar Assistance will not pay for:

• Any expense incurred without the prior authorisation ofJaguar Assistance

• Pre-existing defects

• Any expense that would have normally been payableby you, such as fuel and toll charges

• The cost of replacement parts, unless covered byJaguar Warranty

• Any costs resulting from participation in motor racing,rallies, speed or duration testing

• Any costs resulting from your vehicle being kept in anunroadworthy condition, or not being serviced inaccordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations

• Any costs resulting from you being under the influenceof intoxicating liquor, solvent abuse or drugs

• Any consequential losses arising directly or indirectlyfrom the immobilisation of your vehicle

• Damage or injury intentionally caused by you orresulting from your participation in a criminal actor offence

4. WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THECONTRACT?

Your policy will run for 12 months from your policystart date.

5. DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING AFTER I HAVEPURCHASED THE POLICY?

Please remember that it is your responsibility to regularlyreview your level of cover to ensure that it remains adequate.

6. WHAT CANCELLATION RIGHTS DO I HAVE?

We hope that you will be happy with the cover your policyprovides. However, you have the right to cancel it within14 days of receiving the policy handbook, without givingany reason.

If that happens, we will refund your payment in full.

In the event that you wish to cancel this policy within the14-day period, in the first instance please contact JaguarApproved Warranty Administration, who will arrange forthe refund.

Please note that if your policy is cancelled after the expiryof the 14-day period, following receipt of the warrantydocumentation no refund will be payable. Under nocircumstances will a refund be given if a claim hasbeen paid.

7. HOW DO I MAKE A CLAIM?

If you require assistance following vehicle breakdown, fireor theft please do not attempt to make your ownarrangements.
