o Assessment reps should have let you know which courses need to be

assessed this term

VI. Program Maps

o A lot of work last year went into creating the maps, this next semester

map will be revisited, polished and finished up

o An email is forthcoming from Monique Green, Guided Pathways

Coordinator

o Maps are currently very narrow – need to open up a little to give more

options to students

o Business, Communication Studies and Psychology ADT and Associate

Degrees will be ready to go by the end of the term

o Garth Schultz & Ellen Brown-Drinkwater are willing and able to help with

the maps

i. “…in every class section a student received a syllabus with SLO…”

ii. What is the department’s process for onboarding and letting the

faculty know what SLOs to include? Who updates people as

changes come about? How is this ensured?

iii. Standard 2a – any common assessments or exams that currently

used

1. Does anyone currently use a common exam?

2. How are such common assessments/exams assessed?

3. CPR / First aid use common assessments

4. How do we ensure that common exams do not

disproportionately impact disadvantaged students?

VIII. Open Forum

o Dorothy Gaylor – CI tracking (keeps daily attendance for language labs)

has gone down and students are unable to log hours for labs

o District is looking at a new program to address this issue

o Students can be manually entered to log positive attendance for

now

o Manual tracking has negative impacts - some students leave and

lose their time
