State College Tennis Camps will strive to steadily develop each child’s potential. We are committed to instilling a strong work ethic, sense of fair play, and building the foundations for a healthy life-style. By meeting these goals we hope to create a lifelong love for the game of tennis in every child in our care.

Our program offers patient, age appropriate instruction that will have the older beginner rallying in no time!

Each day we will start with the basics of stroke production – ground strokes, volleys and serves. As your child builds confidence & competence we will challenge him/her with more difficult drills & games. It’s our goal to have our campers become better tennis players. We encourage them to have fun through our engaging selection of activities that help to teach the fundamentals of tennis, the rules of the game, sportsmanship and overall athleticism.

STATE COLLEGE TENNIS CAMPS

10 and Under Tennis, using the Quick Start Ten-nis play format, is structured for kids to learn ten-nis and rally and play quickly in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding. Tailoring equip-ment and courts so that they are sized appropriate-ly for kids makes the game more accessible – and more fun – by allowing kids to get involved right from the start. 10 and Under Tennis eliminates waiting on long lines to hit the ball, and the frus-tration kids feel at not being able to rally. Kids will enjoy playing the game right away and keep them coming back for more, developing a lifelong passion and appreciation for tennis.

Experienced players of all ages will be arranged by ability and all instruction, drills & games will be tailored by our experienced staff to challenge even the most advanced player. For the advanced player, our focus is on preparation for high school team ten-nis and tournaments (you can’t start too young!) By weeks end, your player will know what to expect and what he/she will need to know and do to make and compete on their high school team as well as in local and USTA tournaments.

We will offer stroke production instruction but the emphasis will be on point play (doubles & singles), strategy and actual match play. Advanced players will have ample opportunities to hit/play with our experienced staff.

Our Mission:

What is 10 and Under Ten-

What about my experienced player ages 8 – 18?

What about the older beginner player ages 11-18?
