Get to class early and just try to relax. Do easy questions first. Eliminate choices you know are incorrect. Before writing essay questions write down key words

• Many people end up working in careers that are not directly related to their majors. Why?

AND does he/she really have nice things to say about you?

• Give the person you ask an academic resume– summary of your goals, current academic standing, and work,

community service, & school involvement history • Give the person you ask PLENTY of time to complete

their letter for you and be clear about the deadline & method in which the letter is to be sent (give to you or mail?).– Give them a friendly reminder a day or two before the deadline.
