    Measure

iVib leverages the latest advances in mobile electronics devices to get a quality signal processing equipment beSer than convenTonal industrTal analysis devices.

Furthermore, the high processing speed allows a large number of operaTons without heaTng its CPU and with a minimum power (max. 3 W).

In their conguraTons of 2, 4 or 8 dynamic signal channels, the iVib is a modular system applicable to any industry where machinery is criTcal to be monitored for early warning of potenTal failures that threaten the reliability of the producTon process.

State of the art machinery monitoring

With iVib a much simpler machinery monitoring soluTon comes out. An iVib monitoring system is composed only by sensors (vibraTon, temperature, speed, current, voltage, power consumpTon, video,...), a small size process measurement unit and a web browser to access data.

Moreover, the system provides informaTon to maintenance supervisors on the evoluTon of the state of machinery, their failure modes, alerts and the development of typical faults of rotaTng machinery. It also includes advanced diagnosTc tools for vibraTon experts for remote analysis of the machine.

    All cloudtechnology benefits

Measured data are accessed from a web browser (cloud monitoring). The advantages of this new technology are:

For over a decade internet applicaTons have shown higher producTvity.

    Cloud monitoring

It eliminates the need for a local server and therefore also its maintenance is eliminated.

No need to pay for licenses for access to informaTon.Access is not limited to one or a certain number of computers.

Obsolescence is avoided by applying automaTc updates.

It is very intuiTve, which accelerates the learning curve and allows the user to access all of the funcTonality from scratch.

The iniTal investment is reduced by simplifying the monitoring system.

The system is part of the Preconcerto predicTve maintenance manager pla`orm.

iVib monitoring system includes MODBUS bidirecTonal communicaTon for seamless integraTon with the Distributed Control System Plant (DCS /SCADA).

BidirecTonal communicaTon allows iVib import parameters to correlate vibraTon measurements with temperature and other parameters in the plant distributed control system.

    Simple

But the outstanding of this system is the intelligence the enTre system has been developed. This soluTon, developed enTrely by Spanish engineers, is placed from the beginning to the head of the monitoring systems of rotaTng machinery in simplicity, eciency and cost/benet.

The iVib monitoring system will provide surveillance tools and diagnosTcs to help you to follow up the development of the failures of the equipment in good Tme, in a simple, pracTcal and eecTve way.

The failure modes monitoring is performed from the parameters comprising the assets health matrix. This matrix is composed in columns measuring points of each machine and rows for the indicators of each symptom of the failure modes of each machine.

The iVib system supervises directly failure modes dened for the monitored machines, so we get a green, red or orange peel for each failure mode of each component of the monitored set. For example, typical failure modes of pump motor assemblies can be monitored individually such as unbalance, misalignment, looseness... In this way the user has useful informaTon about the health status of his machinery even if there is no vibraTon analyst at the plant.

If once detected a fault, a more precise diagnosis is required, iVib facilitates access to analysis data (spectra and vibraTon waves) in remote mode so an expert analyst may develop a more accurate diagnosTc report.

    Assets health matrix

iVib system constantly monitors criTcal machinery and when any anomaly is detected, automaTcally generates a message with informaTon on the developing failure mode. It is essenTal that this infomaTon is known to the maintenance supervisors from the start, so iVib can generate an email or an SMS when an important alert is detected.

Set it up as you l ike!

iVib set up is intuiTve, simple and very exible. Dierent available widgets types show the informaTon to the user in a clear and useful, so the analyst only needs to focus on accurately diagnose the fault without worrying about managing the diagnosTc tools.

    Available widgets include:

The simplicity of this applicaTon does not imply giving up the advanced diagnosTc funcTons. Since iVib has all the tools necessary for the analyst, it is very comfortable to analyze vibraTo data from the machine.

    Fully configurable

Parameter trends for idenTfying changes over Tme.FIFO, is another way to see a recent trend to detect recent changes on monitoring parameters.

Parameter matrix, including all dened monitoring parameters, they change color to warn about alarms.

VibraTon spectrum, is the most informaTve chart for the vibraTon analyst and serves to make the diagnosis of the machine.

Time waveform, someTmes the spectrum contains hidden informaTon and therefore wave is used as addiTonal informaTon.

Mimics, to facilitate the idenTcaTon of alerts detected by the system in a way quite visual.

Text box, to enter explanatory notes.Webcam to monitor the image of the machine and its environment. Also may incorporate an infrared camera for conTnuously thermographic inspecTon.

One diculty for vibraTon measurement systems is how to idenTfy automaTcally the right Tme to perform and validate their vibraTon measurements when the machine operaTon changing condiTons aect vibraTon levels. If this is not taken into account, the changes in speed or load distort vibraTon values and therefore monitoring would be unreliable since false alarms were generated.

iVib Advanced Machinery Supervisor is prepared for this diculty to evaluate machines by predened states. So we can avoid false alarms and detect faults from the rst symptoms and establish Tghter alarms.

    Intelligent monitoring

iVib incorporates the latest demodulaTon technology and high frequency signal ltering to idenTfy bearings and gears faults. AddiTonally, this technology detects failures in machines at very low speed.
