Chermayeff’s Awards
• Gold medals from the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Society of Illustrators
• Received the Yale Arts Medal, the President's Fellow Award from the Rhode Island School of Design, and the Industrial Art Medal from the American Institute of Architects.
• He is a past president of the AIGA and was elected to the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame
• Served two decades as a trustee of the Museum of Modern Art
