Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), listed on the Mercato Telematico Azionario organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (Italy’s stock exchange), is the Italian leader in the organization of trade expos and one of the main players in Europe in the expo and conference sector, with its venues in Rimini and Vicenza. ADMISSION POLICY

Admission to the exhibition is free to all visitors (Trade Visitors and Buyers, General Public, VIP and Media) and are subject to the full completion of all sections of the registration form. Visitors under the age of 16 do not need to complete a registration form and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please present your Emirates ID or passport during registration for verification.

Onsite registration will be open from 1:30pm to 9:30pm from 13 – 16 November (from 1:30pm to 9:30pm on 15 November, Friday).

BANKS / ATM

Emirates NBD has two branches at DWTC, in Concourse 1 and 2. Dubai Bank is located in Concourse 1. Both banks have ATM machines on the concourse and the banks are open from 8am to 2pm. There are also ATMs along Za’abeel Concourse, outside Za’abeel Halls 4 and 5.

BUSINESS CENTRE

Business services are available from Desco Printing Press, located outside Hall 3. Desco produces high quality, cost effective materials from large format printing solutions such as roll-up banners and pop up displays to business cards, brochures, and flyers.

CANVASSING

Canvassing for orders or for any other purpose by any unauthorized person is strictly prohibited and in any such case the right of expulsion will at once be exercised. No printed or other materials may be distributed or displayed in any part of the Exhibition except by exhibitors from their own stands with prior written approval of the Organiser.

Restrictions:Vehicles are not permitted to park overnight. The owner of any vehicle left overnight will be fined and the vehicle will be taken over by the security and protocol department and handed over to the concerned local authorities.

Lost: The charge for lost parking tokens is AED 150.

CAR PARK – VALETValet Parking is available for all visitors and is a chargeable service and subject to availability. The normal tariff would be AED100/day. This service operates at Convention Gate (Location: Convention Tower), Exhibition Gate (Location: Exhibition Plaza opposite ibis hotel), Trade Centre Arena (Location: Arena Plaza 1 and 2) and Za’abeel Hall 6. The nearest valet to the exhibition is Za’abeel Hall 6.

CATERING FACILITIES

Due to Health & Safety regulations of Dubai Municipality and as per Dubai World Trade Centre LLC policy, all food & beverage items that are consumed within the exhibition must be supplied by the Dubai World Trade Centre Food & Beverage Department ONLY. Any food & beverage that is brought in from outside will not be allowed into the venue.

Light refreshments and snacks as well as Jain food options are available at Traders House Café in Za’abeel Hall 4 and 5. Refreshment carts serving a variety of Italian, Chinese and Indian foods as well as sandwiches are available in the concourse. Branded cafés and restaurants are available within the Concourse, Sheikh Saeed Hall (Arena Junction) and near Hall 8, including Traders House and The Hub.

A wide range of restaurant and retail outlets located in Concourses 1 and 2 and on the Plaza are available to all exhibitors and visitors. Services include restaurants, business centre, courier service, banks, pharmacy, post office, telecom outlet and much more.

DISABLED ACCESS

All exhibition halls, meeting rooms and public areas are accessible by wheelchair. Car park spaces are also reserved for the disabled. Toilets on the ground floor and above Exhibition Halls 6, 7 and 8 also have disabled access, whilst all doorways and lifts accommodate standard wheelchairs and have low-level buttons. Visitor wheelchairs are subject to availability and can be borrowed from our Emergency Medical Services Station, located next to Exhibition Hall 5 or along the Za’abeel concourse located in between Za’abeel Hall 4 & Hall 5, just by depositing an appropriate identification.

By disabled we refer to a variety of conditions, not simply wheelchair access; this could mean obstacles that physically challenged people visiting and working at the events may have to face. Such provisions must include allowance of a suitable number of disabled spaces within the event for viewing purposes.

DWTC has been built with disabled access in mind and we do ask that exhibitors and designers assist in maintaining reasonable access for disabled people during events.

INDEMNITY

The Organiser and the publisher of the VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show Catalogue accept no responsibility for the statements made in this Show Catalogue nor any errors or omissions that may occur, however caused.

LOST PROPERTY

The Lost and Found office is located above Hall 8 and is responsible for the safekeeping of items that have been found at the premises. Items will be returned to the rightful owner upon presentation of reasonable proof of ownership. DWTC assumes no responsibility for the care and/or protection of any personal belongings left unattended on DWTC property or for the loss, under any circumstance, including theft, vandalism, or malicious mischief of any such belonging.

Anybody losing property should report the details to the Lost and Found office as soon as they become aware of the loss. Losses may be reported by phone our Command & Control Centre on +971 4 3064600/ 3086212 or in person, and must be followed up with an official report of loss, theft, or disappearance.

The Lost and Found Office is open from Saturday to Thursday, and is operational from one hour prior to the start of the event to one hour after the end of the event. Outside of these opening hours, please contact the Security Control Room located above Hall 8.

A lost and found area is located on level 1, above Hall 8, in which items are stored for safekeeping until reasonable proof of ownership is presented at the collection point. The lost and found office operates 24 hours, 7 days a week and can be contacted on +971 4 306 4600.

DWTC assumes no responsibility for the care and / or protection of any personal belongings left unattended on DWTC’s property or for the loss, under any circumstance, including theft, vandalism or malicious mischief of any such belonging.

MEDICAL AID & PHARMACY

DWTC provides an emergency service for persons who may become injured or ill whilst at the Exhibition Centre. In case of medical emergency, please call our Command & Control Centre on +971 4 3064600/ 3086212 giving the exact location of the incident and details if any injury is sustained. The Emergency Medical Centre is located at the Exhibition Gate Reception next to Hall 5 or along the Za’abeel concourse located in between Za’abeel Hall 4 & Hall 5. Dubai Life Pharmacy is located in Concourse 2, between Halls 5 & 6.

MONEY EXCHANGE

Al Rostamani Money Exchange is located in Concourse 2 and offers good rates on your currency conversions. Open from 8am to 5pm. Wall Street Exchange Centre is located inside the exhibition hall for money exchange services as well as offering cash for credit card swipes for your purchases at the event. They are located at Stand E-160, at the back of Za’abeel Hall 5.

PRAYER ROOMS

The men’s prayer room is located on level 2 opposite Exhibition Hall 5 and in the foyer of Sheikh Saeed Hall and the ladies’ prayer room is located on level 2 opposite Exhibition Hall 7. Additional women’s and men’s prayer room are also available at the main entrance of Za’abeel Hall 1 and Za’abeel Hall 4.

PROHIBITIONS

The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to the exhibition without assigning any reason and to order the expulsion of any person whose conduct, in their opinion, renders such course of action appropriate.

SMOKING BAN

As per Dubai Municipality law, the entire complex has been declared to be non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed in the designated areas outdoors located at the Exhibition and Arena Plaza and Convention Gate and Za’abeel entrance.

Whatever your communication needs, reach out to Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecommunications operator, and one of the largest in the GCC. They are located on Concourse 2, next to Hall 5.

METROThe World Trade Centre metro station allows direct access to our Venue from prominent locations around Dubai. The station (number 22) is on the Red Line within Zone 5. Trains run every 7 minutes to all major business, tourist and residential areas and with options such as Park and Ride or feeder buses connecting various districts to the metro. Using the metro not only saves you time and reduces traffic on the roads, but also lowers our carbon footprint, which helps us work towards a greener environment.
