Dear Life-Changer, It’s always a blessing to see people move from despair, depression and hopelessness to success and happiness. Thank you for your support and partnership in helping us reach out to those in our communities who are hurting. Even though the country’s future is still uncertain, we continue to move forward with our vision: “No One is Homeless”. Each day, lives are moving from tragedy to triumph.

We are now preparing for the Fall and expect to provide over 250,000 meals by the end of the year. Hope often begins with a meal and there are many more people in need of hope and healing. Help us with our annual “Pack the Pantry” campaign.

This is a great project for your place of worship, business, school, club or organization. It’s so rewarding to see what young people are doing; school kids, college students, and young adults are becoming more involved in helping the homeless at our Centers in Miami, Hollywood, and Pompano Beach.

I want to thank everyone who helped make our summer programs so successful. We had over 150 kids in our summer camp program, celebrated birthdays with our “Bombastic Birthday Party” for the homeless and needy, held our annual “Christmas-in-July” celebration that served thousands and provided over 700 pairs of new sneakers to boys and girls. We were also able to distribute school supplies to hundreds of needy children.

We simply could not do what we do without YOU! Together, we are serving more than 1,300 men, women, and children each day. Hundreds are enrolled in our residential programs. In fact, last year 750 men and women graduated our programs, found employment, and housing. YOU make this all possible!

Special Blessings to you and your loved ones,

Rev. Ronald Brummitt, PresidentMiami Rescue MissionBroward Outreach Centers

Horace came from a large family where he and his siblings encountered physical abuse from their

father. In high school, he started using drugs and his drug use increased until he was eventually kicked out of school. He soon ended up in jail, but earned his GED and had hopes to go to college. This dream was dashed by 30 years of drugs and more jail. Horace lived on the streets for 3 years before entering our program. He has worked hard to turn his life around. He has a new life and a new future thanks to your support.

“Being here has allowed me to pursue my dream of 30 years. Thank you to all the supporters for making my new life a reality.”

“Help Pack the Pantry”

Pack the Pantry is for you, your friends, your business, or place of worship to get involved and help

us feed the hungry and needy. It’s all about seeing changed lives!

We invite you and your place of worship to help us realize our

vision: No One is Homeless. Our goal for the fall season is to have 500 Faith Partners help us raise awareness, finances and items for our Centers in Miami,

Hollywood and Pompano Beach. There are so many great ways for your place of worship to make a positive impact on our community: conduct a food, clothing, toy or hygiene drive; come volunteer as a group at one of our Centers; host a car wash or other activity to raise money and pray for the homeless and needy. Our work has always been to help those in need with human compassion and the love of God.

For more information, visit our websites or call (305) 572-2007 in Miami-Dade County or (954) 935-3048 in Broward County.
