● Planned and instituted a 1-1 program grades 3rd-12th utilizing Chromebooks. This deployment is approximately 500 units across 4 schools.

● Deployed our first Active Directory server on a VMWare base to manage the users between the 3 sites. Later added additional servers and SAN capacity to configure VMotion.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 2010-Present Community Unit School District #2 Technology Director Responsible for all technology in the school district and library media services. Managed our Erate, Network, Active Directory Servers, VMware, print servers, technology integration, and VOiP phone systems. Plan and prep with the district principals, Title Director, and Superintendent for technology integration. Manage our district 1:1 Chromebook initiative. Direct and manage the library and technology persons at each of the buildings. 2006-2010 Community Unit School District #2 District Librarian/Instructional Technology Leadership of the four district libraries and library assistants. Responsibilities include purchasing books for the library, enhancement of the technology in the library (Data Projectors, portable computer labs), managing the annual state grant for school libraries, and deployment of E-Read Illinois digital eBooks to students and staff. Additionally, provided service on the Administrative Council for the Prairie Area Library System and the Regional Library System.

2001-2006 Indian Prairie Community Unit School District #204 Library Media Director Assisted teachers and students in their learning and teaching processes via all available resources. Scheduled and coordinated library research combined with computer lab time for best efficiency in the learning process. Other responsibilities included entering comprehensive student information into the circulation system, maintaining the integrity of Fry Elementary School’s literary collection, and organizing volunteer assistance and activities to engage the students completing the program. Additionally, responsibilities included locating appropriate reading materials for the students, managing the school’s yearly library budget, selecting appropriate materials for literary collection by reading academic journals and researching data findings, and organizing fundraisers to raise additional monies to be spent on the students and instructional staff. 1999-2001 Indian Prairie Community Unit School District #204 Computer Technician Responsibilities included monitoring appropriate function of end-user microcomputers, printers, audio-visual equipment, and associated devices as well as providing problem resolution through telephone troubleshooting and on-site visits. Additional responsibilities included providing technical support of a local area network, hub and switches electronics, and guidance on system management tasks associated with local area network servers and /or video control circuits.
