ITKAN, The IT Knowledge and Abilities Network, Announces New Brand Logo and Messaging ITKAN Chicago has a new look. The updated logo depicts the nonprofit’s commitment to branching out, creating training-to-hire initiatives for its members with disabilities and a passion for technology. The brand’s icon, a multi-hued green and blue tree whose branches evoke pulsing energy and whose wide roots are exposed to indicate a solid foundation, will represent the ITKAN brand on its social media sites as well as all ITKAN-sponsored initiatives. Its tag line, Exploring technology without limits, is reflective of the professional development group’s mission to support the growth of all members, regardless of challenge. “We are very excited to share ITKAN’s new logo and messaging as we begin our strategic efforts to develop training initiatives and reach out more broadly to the hiring community through our Advisory Team. The new brand icon reflects our group’s growth in both strategy and reach. Finally, the messaging – Exploring Technology without Limits – is part of our DNA, we do it month after month, year after year.” Pat Maher – Co-founder Founded in 2008, ITKAN is dedicated to exposing its membership to the latest trends, processes and opportunities in the tech space. The group is a Computerworld Honors Laureate Program in Collaboration and launched its strategic Advisory Team in late 2014 to help establish its training-to-hire initiatives. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 5-7pm at the Microsoft Technology Center Chicago on the 2nd floor of the Aon Tower – 200 E. Randolph St. ITKAN is affiliated with the Illinois Technology Foundation (ITF), a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of the technology talent pipeline in the State of Illinois.
