Engagement Guidance Abstract
This is a guide to solutioning ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) within deals:
ITIL – “IT Infrastructure Library” is the globally recognised de facto standard for IT Service Management,
extended to cover infrastructure, security and application management.
It’s origins are based in early UK Government IT operations and are aimed at establishing a set of “Best
Practices” around the management of IT services.
The latest information on ITIL can be located on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) in ITDelivery website.
In addition, the Process Framework View in GSAR shows the alignment of ITDelivey Process to ITIL
The old ITIL Solution Policy is still available in the File Attachment for historical purposes, although some information
is now out of date.
