SINGAPORE, 2 SEPTEMBER 2015 – Trevor Noah’s smooth delivery of cutting-edge comediccommentary makes his debut as the new host of “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”premiering in Asia on Wednesday, 30 September at 10.30pm (TH/WIB), 11.30pm(HK/PH/SG/TW) and Thursday, 1 October at 12.30am (MY). The fresh incarnation of theEmmy® and Peabody® Award-winning iconic series will continue its coverage of the day’snews and events with the incisive and insightful humour of host Trevor Noah and the incrediblytalented roster of “The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!” including Jordan Klepper, JessicaWilliams, Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi, Hasan Minhaj and KristenSchaal.

Noah joined “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” in 2014 as a contributor. He made his U.S.television debut in 2012 on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” as well as “Late Show withDavid Letterman,” becoming the first South African stand-up comedian to appear on either latenight show. Born in South Africa to a black South African mother and a white European father,he has successfully become the top comedian in Africa. Noah has hosted numerous televisionshows including his own late night talk show in his native country, “Tonight with Trevor Noah.”

Noah was the subject of David Paul Meyer’s award-winning documentary film “You Laugh ButIt’s True” which tells the story of his remarkable career in post-apartheid South Africa. Noah’s

one-man show “The Racist” at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe was a sold out run that became oneof the most talked about shows at the Festival that year. Recently, Noah performed for theRoyal Family at the Royal Variety Performance.
