After a denominational merger in 1968, we were renamed Lewisburg United Methodist Homes (LUMH). By 1980, the campus in Lewisburg had grown beyond independent living, adding personal care and skilled nursing care centers. In 1984, LUMH became the manager of Warrior Run Manor, a HUD housing project in Watsontown. In 1987, LUMH was asked to partner with U.M. Care of York to build a United Methodist Home in York, and that campus opened in October of 1992. Today, the campuses are known as RiverWoods and Normandie Ridge. In April of 1997, choosing to honor our roots in the Evangelical Church established by Jacob Albright, we renamed the corporation Albright Care Services. With evolving changes in senior care delivery, in 2008 we opened our first Albright LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) Centers—one in Williamsport and one in Lancaster. We added the Albright LIFE Center in Lebanon in 2011. LIFE is a program that makes it possible for seniors to remain in their own homes for as long as possible through the provision of affordable, high-quality care received though the LIFE Center. e LIFE care team coordinates, monitors and authorizes all care for each participant enrolled in the program.

With evolving changes in senior care delivery, in 2008 we opened our fi rst Albright LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) Centers—one in Williamsport and one in Lancaster. We added the Albright LIFE Center in Lebanon in 2011.
