TAKEN FROM JESUS CALLING MAY 11TH

THANK ME FOR YOUR PROBLEMS.

As soon as your mind gets snagged on a difficulty, bring it to Me

with thanksgiving. Then ask Me to show you My way to handle the

situation. The very act of thanking Me releases your mind from its

negative focus. As you turn your attention to Me, the problem

fades in significance and loses its power to trip you up. Together

we can deal with the situation, either facing it head-on or putting

it aside for later consideration.

Most of the situations that entangle your mind are not today’s

concerns; you have borrowed them from tomorrow. In this case, I

lift the problem out of today and deposit it in the future, where it

is veiled from your eyes. In its place I give you My Peace, which

flows freely from My Presence.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer

and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Deal or Double Deal

Before you start the show, walk around the room and allow each guest and hostess to pick their

favorite small purse. Ask them not to open --- it’s a surprise! Do the show as you normally would!

Finish “Fashion T-Shirt” Fashion show and take off all your jewelry! Once you take off all your

jewelry --- be sure to let the “petite tennis bracelet” be the last piece you are wearing, begin to walk

around and show the ladies your bracelet and say this….”ladies, the piece I’m showing you now is

one of our giveaways tonight. It’s not in the catalog and you can’t purchase it but you can win it

from me tonight. This is a replica of the ‘Petite by Cartier’. If you were to go into the ‘Cartier’ store

and ask to see their petite --- they would show you a piece very similar to mine. This piece has 54

hand cut Swarovski crystals --- these are not glass chips! I carry this in a size 7 inch and 8 inch!

When you win this tonight --- I will size your wrist.”

Make sure all the t-shirts are facing the guests. (If there’s not a place to display the t-shirts, ask a

few guests to stand up and hold the t-shirts facing the guests).

Say, “Ladies, we are going to go around the room. Please tell us your favorite two pieces by saying

something like……’I like the silver necklace on the gray t-shirt or I like the colorful earrings on the

purple t-shirt, etc.’”. (Listen to each lady describe what pieces she loves and encourage everyone

to clap for her). Once everyone has spoken ---- immediately pick up your hostess posters and say,

“this is for everyone who loves 2 or more pieces”. (Quickly read the posters and place them back

on the coffee table.) “Ladies --- bottom line is this --- my average hostess receives between $200 -

$250 in free jewelry.”

“It’s time to play a FUN GAME! Ladies, pick up your small purse and hold it in your hand. How

many of you have ever seen the T.V. show called ‘Deal or No Deal’?” (Listen for their answer ---

many will say they have seen it --- either way it doesn’t matter b/c you will explain how to play it

your way.)

“Ladies, we are going to play a version of this game. I’m going to be Howie Mandell and you are

going to be the beautiful models! Do you remember the cases the models would hold on the

show? Well, tonight I’ve replaced the cases for those super cute small purses you are holding!

Here’s how the game is going to work. I’m going to come around to each of you and ask if you

want to DEAL OR DOUBLE DEAL. The choice is yours! When you say ‘Deal’ you may open the small

purse and the gift inside is yours! WHOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you say ‘Double Deal’ you may

have the gift inside the small purse and my beautiful bracelet’.” (Point to the Petite by Cartier

tennis bracelet.).

“When you say DEAL --- that means you want to do a show with me SOMETIME --- honestly, I don’t

care --- you can have it whenever you want to! When you say DOUBLE DEAL --- that means you are

going to have a show with me by __________ (give a specific date here --- for example: by

November 30th or by December 15th, etc.)” Repeat what DEAL and DOUBLE DEAL mean again --- to

make sure everyone understands the rules of the game!

“Ladies, let me say this. If you absolutely don’t want free jewelry --- no problem at all --- just toss

your small purse back into my bag --- no problem at all! And if you need a few minutes to think

about it --- just say so --- again, no problem! When you leave today, I want you to say ‘I had a great

time and there was no weirdness with that jewelry lady --- actually she was nice and I liked her’……

ok, so no pressure --- the decision is yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Start somewhere in the middle of the guests (with the most positive person there) --- approach her

with your bag behind your back and simply say, “Deal or Double Deal” and THEN DO NO SPEAK!

No matter what she says --- you say, “clap for her”! (if she says deal or double deal ask her not to

open her purse yet until everyone has a chance to play the game.) Once you have made your way

around the room say, “ok ladies, for those of you who said ‘deal or double deal’ open your purses”.

Allow them to read what they won out loud. My slips will read either “Free Shipping at your show”

or “Extra $25 in Free Jewelry at your show”, etc. Be sure you put “AT YOUR SHOW” on whatever

they win (this means they must hold the show to win that prize --- no show = no prize)!!!!!!

Note: when you approach your hostess --- stop and say this, “ladies, I’m sure you are wondering

why I am approaching our hostess Mary since she is having our show tonight. Well, the truth is

many of my hostesses will rebook for a new season. So, Mary, if you would like to have another

show in another season, you are free to keep your purse.”

After everyone opens their purse you can say, “ladies, for those of you who said Deal or Double

Deal --- please see me after the show for your gifts.”

Note: Do not give the tennis bracelet until you get a DATE!

Give a gift to a guest in the middle of the room. Explain that you are going to read a story and each time you say the word “bling” the gift will be passed to the right. The guest with the gift at the end of the story will get to keep the gift.

The Story of How Mrs. Bling got her Bling-Bling

This is the story of Betty Bling. Mrs. Bling woke up one day, brushed her teeth, took a

shower and went to her closet to choose something to wear to work. She searched and

searched for just the right thing but nothing seemed right. Mrs. Bling’s wardrobe had

lost it’s zing. Mrs. Bling realized that she needed some bling bling to add some zing to

her outfits. The problem was Mrs. Bling had never been good at choosing the perfect

accessories. While she was thinking about her problem, Mrs. Bling kissed Mr. Bling

goodbye and left for work. Throughout the day Mrs. Bling kept thinking about her

problem: she needed bling-bling but didn’t know where to get it. When Mrs. Bling

returned home that night, in her mailbox was an invitation that read, “Every Girl Needs a

Little Bling-Bling”. Betty Bling’s neighbor was having a Premier Jewelry Show the

following week. Mrs. Bling was so excited! The night of the show, Mrs. Bling was the

first to arrive at her neighbor’s house. She immediately went to the table which was

sparkling with more bling-bling than Mrs. Bling had ever seen. The Premier Designs

jeweler asked Mrs. Bling to model her favorite ensemble. Mrs. Bling listened carefully

as the jeweler explained how to use jewelry to update your wardrobe. Mrs. Bling wanted

to purchase everything but decided to have her own Premier Designs showing so she

could get a lot of bling bling for FREE. At her show, the jeweler worked with Mrs.

Bling to help her achieve the new look she desired. Mrs. Bling got so excited that she

decided to become a Premier Jeweler herself! Now Ms. Bling gets to show others the

joy that bling bling can bring.
