Design trends:

- On “semi - custom” (pre - engineered platform) yachts, trend of more knowledgeable customers is to ask for very rational arrangements and high technical specifications. The challenge is to pack a huge list of features in smaller yachts, which requires a very methodical approach to product development.

- On full custom yachts, owners feel more and more free to build their own yachtaccording to their lifestyle rather than following a consolidated scheme. Thisshift has been happening for some years now, with the trend having started with large gigayachts and now waterfalling down to smaller builds.

Style trends:

- Simplicity is now a key factor for style. “Clean” lines with more continuity and"flow" are the current trend, and as yachts grow higher and more voluminous it is an interesting challenge to see the Designers deal with details of each mark to achieve nice proportions.

- Home-like interiors, with loose furniture and decoration pieces being more important than the fixed furniture box, are a long standing trend which won't fade away soon. Owners like more and more to build a neutral box that can change and evolve in time along with their taste.
