Educational Achievements
NAPLAN
There were twenty-two (22) Year Three students and two (2) Year Five students that completed the
national tests in, Reading, Writing, Language Conventions and Numeracy.
NAPLAN Tests do not provide school averages for less than five students taking part in the test and the
Year Five comparisons have been omitted due to only two students actually completing the tests.

Assessment of Language Competence
The ALC provides schools with rich data to inform our teaching practice and to monitor/compare the
progress of groups of students. The ALC is reported as a percentage score, based on the raw score result.
Percentage scores are also presented in descriptor bands as follows: High Distinction, Distinction, Credit
and Participation.
It is essential that we recognise the ALC as tests given to students at the very end of Primary school and
aimed well into the Secondary model. They are tests designed for language students in high school and
have a specific content that makes it quite difficult for our students to grasp due to maturity and
experience.
It is with great pleasure I present the school’s results in comparison to other schools.
