Masterpiece Family Easter Event

Masterpiece (our older adult minis-try) will travel to Jefferson City for a Dinner Theater showing of “Jesus Christ, Superstar” on Saturday, April 13th. We will leave the Cele-bration Center at 10 am and return late afternoon. The cost is $77 and includes the musical, a catered meal, transportation by chartered bus and special treats. Several volunteers are needed to keep the doors open for our mem-bers before and after church ser-vices. All it takes is one hour of your time. You arrive 1/2 hour be-fore church services and open up the store, as the music starts, you attend service, and during the end-ing music you reopen the book-store and stay for approximately another 1/2 hour. It is that easy. And as a volunteer, you will be awarded a 10% discount on any purchase you make. Call Sandy Goff at 660-287-6065 to sign up.

For their 2019 Summer Mis-sion Trip , our Impact Student Ministry will be going to Mem-phis, Tennessee, June 16-22. If you would like to help with one of the stations for the Rise up with Je-sus Family Easter Event April 14th, please sign up on the connect card this weekend. This is going to be an exciting family event where our fami-lies explore details about Jesus' res-urrection on that glorious Sunday Morning 2,000 years ago. Come be a part of this wonderful Children's Ministry opportunity.

EEASTERASTER CCANDYANDY The Children’s Ministry will be pre-senting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th at 10 am at the Celebration Center. Kids 0-5th grade are invited to come celebrate with us. Everyone is in-vited to donate individually wrapped, Easter egg friendly candy by Friday, April 12th. Collection Baskets are located in the Lobby.

MMARRIAGEARRIAGE CCLASSLASS What must a couple do to stay happily married? The author of "His Needs, Her Needs" addresses this question which we will study in a 6-session Marriage Class beginning Sunday, March 31st. This new class will meet at 11AM or right at the conclu-sion of 9:45 service. (Location of the class to be determined). Child-care will be provided and includes a group of kids being taught with food - food that they will prepare for the whole fam-ily to eat afterwards! The workbook is available at the Wel-come Center for only $5/couple.

EEASTERASTER WWEEKEEK SSERVICESERVICES On Easter week we will have a Maundy Thursday service on April 18 at 7 p.m. in the Friendship Hall (fellowship hall) to share in Communion remembering the time when Jesus gathered with his disciples and gave new meaning to the Passover meal. Then there will be a Good Friday service on April 19 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary we will present “at the Foot of the Cross” a dramatic telling of the path to the cross.
