    1. JOB DETAILS

    Position Title: IT Executive - Network and Infrastructure

    Division: IT

    Reporting to: IT Manager - Network and Infrastructure

    Location: Head Office

    Date: Jan 2015

    2. POSITION PURPOSE

    To assist the Head of Network & Infrastructure on maintaining the IT infrastructure and

    provide the best IT Helpdesk service.

    3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Responsible for implement, monitor and maintaining the communication

    system including LAN, WAN, Intranet, Security and Telecommunications

    system to ensure that entire systems perform at the best performance.

    Co-operate with NI team to provide the best IT Helpdesk service to users

    Co-operate with NI team to periodically perform BCP checking and BCP

    update towards LAN, WAN, Internet system to ensure that BCP plan of the

    company is correct and useable in contingency case. Co-operate with IT

    Team to deploy all IT Project successful.

    To provide fully support for setting up new Branches, any new projects

    implementation of Network Infrastructure Team to ensure that everything

    regard to LAN, WAN, PBX and Internet system are well prepare and finish

    on time.

    Manage the Network Equipment inventory makes sure that all spare part is

    under good condition and ready for replacement.

    Create, edit procedures and user guides to ensure that they are up to date

    Responsible for self-improving IT knowledge to work better.

    4. JOB SPECIFICATION

    Qualification:

    - B.A Degree in Computer Science

    - CCNA/ MCSE (Preferred)

    Experience

    - Experience in Server System and Network Administration

    - Experience in IT Help Desk and technical support.

    Knowledge:

    - Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows LAN Operating system.

    - Knowledge of LAN and WAN system.

    - Knowledge of server, network equipment

    - Advanced PC knowledge.

    - Knowledge of Telecom/ PABX system.

    Skills:

    - English, especially on IT

    - Communication and Customer Service

    - Personal Computer using

    - Team work skill

    - Work under high pressure.

    5. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

    Internal interface

    Provide IT services to all company employees.

    External Interface

    External contacts will include IT hardware/ software vendors, consultants and IT

    service providers.

    6. CHALLENGES

    Have to keep the entire system and IT Services up and run over 24/7.

    To satisfy the requirements of user on IT Helpdesk service.
