The Woolworths Employees’ Credit Union $5,000 Student Scholarship Award will be launched in July. The closing date for all applications will be the end of September. The eligibility criteria is as follows:

• Only year 12 students are eligible.

• A top grade point average B+ in the current school.

• Received acceptance to an accredited college, university or vocational school if already confirmed.

• Application form (available online).

• Official current transcript of high school grades – current and prior year marks.

A little about me - I grew up in country NSW and moved to Geelong over 14 years ago. I now live in Melbourne with my boyfriend Ash and beautiful 2 yr. old black lab, Monty who I absolutely adore. I am an extremely creative person so you’ll always find me working on a DIY project in my spare time.

I’m currently working on a blog called “The Lone Arranger” which showcases a little of my floristry and photography skills. I guess you could say I’m a true Melbournian because I love my food and travel and I’m always looking for a new favourite restaurant! I also love my AFL and I have followed the Richmond Tigers since I was little. It’s been rough but I’m loyal!

I decided to take the plunge by moving into the finance industry after a 10 year stint in various hospitality roles, the most recent being an Event Sales Executive for Park Hyatt Melbourne. My financial career began in 2012 with Bank of Melbourne as a Personal Banker and I haven’t looked back since...what a great industry!

My new role with WECU has been fantastic so far and everyone has been a great support. I am really looking forward to bringing all my skills and experience into play and creating new and exciting ways to grow our business and It’s people.
