Welcome to our third issue of Chesswood Chat. We are Abbie,

Tali and Freya – the Chesswood Chat editors. Thank you very

We hope you turned up on the Jubilee even-ing because we had the time of our lives!

First we set up our stalls and then the people started flooding in. The Jubilee Evening was a great success and loads of people turned up! We will inform you on how much money we have made in our next

issue.

Why did the knight run about shouting for a tin opneder ? He had a bee in his suit of armour !

What was King Arthur's favourite game ? Knights and crosses !

She looked at her surroundings she could just see just clouds like

sheet of white material! She stood up and stepped forward before

she new it she was falling she landed on a hard cloud. she hurt her “I

think ive sprained it or even broke it what am I going to do know” she

started crying a couple on minitues later she could see something

green in the distance it was getting closer and it was hovering it was

a type of beast “heyyyy I’m bob” said the weird green thing. The

goblin put a jelly type of thing on lily’s leg 2 seconds later it was fi-

ne, they started speaking about how lily was at her friends house and

now shes in the clouds! Bob had a idea “if you want to get out you

need to go in the slide of doom “why is id called the slide of doom”

asked lily? ”well that’s not talk about that”

Said the goblin, the goblin and lily tried to think till the goblin had a

idea ”I know if we just fall we will get to the big last cloud then we

wait for a plane and jump its dangerous but I have 2 parashoots were

sorted“ but then lily replied ”so are you coming with me you’re a gob-

lin that would be a bit of a shock to the real world“! After this the

goblin looked sad and he realised that he couldn't go.

Lily set off back home she fell from the

Cloud to cloud she waited for hours till a plane came past she landed

on a plane!

In no time she was back in her house like nothing happened and the

day after she went back to school everyone was speaking to her

again everything was back to normal

Guess. Most people get my age completely wrong!

I had started writing a book about a strange fish; I got half way through it, then de-

cided I didn’t like it. So I threw it all away!

Then I found a piece of paper. On it these words were written: 'Thistlewick Island is

the most haunted island in the world'. This gave me an idea for a new trilogy of

'Ghost' books.

The first 'Ghost' book (currently called Ghost Post) and the second one (which

doesn't have a name yet) will both be published in September 2012. They are my

most spooky and adventurous books yet and I can't wait for my fans to read them!

I get ideas. Lots of them. They’re buzzing round my head right now, banging into

each other and forming bigger, brighter ideas. And those ideas hit more ideas and

explode like fireworks in my mind. If I ’m not careful, too many fireworks will go off

at once and my head will explode.

That’s why I have to write - to get those ideas out of my head. The problem is, as

soon as I write one idea down, another idea pops into my head. I ’m in a never-

ending cycle of ideas and there’s no escaping them!
